          ❛ No, you see. . . I love being the center of attention. The spotlight,         if you will. But this is ridiculous. Being stalked is definitely not on my to-do.          Tell me what you want so we can move on already. ❜

                                                 Mother Nature

        ❀ Born from the single seed planted by Creation, Theresa became the Mother of Nature when she blossomed from the earth and looked upon her realm. She is the second daughter of Creation and the only sister of Mother Ocean. Considered to be the most beautiful of the Three, Theresa is the most beloved and most known by the human race. Although, she despises humanity for their ignorance and disregard for her domain and its creatures, Mother Nature often spends her time avoiding them. Focused rather on her children and especially Nirvana. She was the being that brought Nirvana into existence. Knowing that when Nirvana was born she held the Genesis in her belly.

          Bringing in the origin of creation had fueled an insatiable ego, one that was well known among the Flora. All are expected to love and honor her, pray at her feet and gaze upon her with admiration. Mother Nature's narcissism is legendary to all Ethereals ( the children of the Three ). It is a strict rule never to step on her toes, never to upset the Mother. And it is only Nirvana who dares to defy her and yet, Mother Nature continues to keep her alive. Her ego would never let her destroy the bringer of true balance. As the second daughter, Mother Nature is quite naive and impulsive. Constantly playing with fire when it comes to Nirvana. While the world is threatened by an oncoming shadow, Theresa continues to fuss around with her daughter.

                     The Rot

         The Rot is Theresa's agent. Her assassin and her executioner. It is a silent disease that causes decay in her children and in her creations. It is inescapable and lethal. It starts in the Core, the magical center of the Flora and once it is finished with the Core it moves on to the rest of the body until nothing is left but a black carcass. The only Flora to have survived this is Nirvana but not with out hours of fighting. The Rot is Mother Nature's only deadly magical power, the rest of what she can do is based on life and of growing.

             ❛ Mmm, gunpowder and iron! Just what the doctor ordered. ❜

      She nearly gagged on the scent. It was too human, stinking        of industrialism and change. It burned her throat as she inhaled and        stung the delicate meat of her lungs.

            ❛ Do you ever shower or do you always smell like a factory? ❜

             ❛ Hey, look! Another person who decides it's a good idea to just                    stand in the middle of things. ❜

      And in her frustration, she lets slip the true color of her eyes.       Golden irises like Jerusalem Sage yet as bright as marigold providing       evidence that perhaps she was not quite human. The color flashes quickly,       pouted lips pursed in the direction of the offender.

               ❛ So, are you gonna move or not? ❜

                words don’t come easily from her; jaw hangs                 between pallid lips. a smile curls at the edges,                 though,            & she lets a breathy laugh slip                 between her teeth   & she slides into the chair                 across from her.

                         ❛        no, but you look like you                                     could use some company.        ❜

                    ❛ I've got all the company I need. ❜

       Her lips press together, uncomfortable. Dark eyes flicker         across her form before deciding to let her sit. For a moment, her fingers         glow in suspicion before she hides them in her lap. Concealing magic         was difficult, it bypassed the glamour like it demanded to be seen.

                          ❛ But suit yourself. ❜

         ❛ You know. . . the hair? It's lovely but maybe a trim would be nice.               You're starting to look unnecessarily unruly. ❜

    She rises on her toes to reach for the stray curls that grace      the side of his head, twirling them around her finger before tugging       harshly.

               ❛ Oh, soft! That's a surprise! ❜

              ❛ Do I look homeless to you? ❜

     Charity was never well received. In fact, the Flora had loathed       charity. Hated the way it stuck to her skin like the mucous of an Aloe plant,       it's remnants still clinging to the creases days after. She folded her arms       across her chest, fingers cool against the breeze. 

        ❛ I'm not homeless. So, you can take your bowl of soup somewhere else. ❜
