I want/need to start over from fedora but I can't actually figure out how to wipe the partition it's on so I can install a different distro that I believe will be better fit.

Not to mention it broke itself and can't unbreak itself so nothing will update or anything. I can't force it or anything, it's supremely annoying and a pain to use. Idek HOW it broke itself. It installed updates and then suddenly stopped telling me it couldn't anymore.

Would be the most convenient to overwrite the partition w the distro I want but I can't seem to find if that's actually the way to do this or not.

If you want your data back I'm psure fedora provides CHROOT on live images, if not just overwrite it with your target distro
