The funniest thing about Bunny by Mona Awad is how it makes fun of the exact same type of girls romanticized in books like A Lesson in Vengeance and An Education in Malice (dark academia white girls in MFA/creative writing programs with notebooks full of pretentious poetry about the horrors of girlhood and animal desire) and yet you won't believe the exact demographic of people who have chosen to rebrand Bunny itself as a dark academia girlblogging feminine rage manifesto.
