I have a few things I want to tell you. First, congrats! Iâm so happy you found someone who means so much to you that youâre willing to overlook this little thing we call distance. Now, bear with me as I tell you a few things Iâve come to realize in my LDR.
To be absolutely honest with you, youâre going to have days that youâre just simply sad. Days where it seems as though everyone is living happily with their partner, while youâre stuck miles away from yours. Youâll have days where you cry yourself to sleep wishing you were in your other halfâs arms. Youâll have days where you blame the whole world for placing the one you love most so far away from you.
Now, this all seems pretty scary and overwhelming, Iâm sure. But donât lose hope quite yet, because this letterâs not over.
Youâll soon learn just how strong you both are. Not only that, but youâll learn just how strong love is. Youâll see that you could have 10 bad days, but it only takes 1 good day to know youâre with the right person. Youâll see that despite the distance, you find yourself happier than you ever were before, just knowing you have your loved one. Youâll see that it really is the little things in your relationship that means the most to you.
So my one piece of advice to youâŚfor every âbadâ day you have, I promise you, thereâs always a good one just around the corner. Just give it a little time, and soon, youâll see too.
