Access to earthly abundance is their tool for advocacy. Their strength is best used in service. If they ever abuse their authority, there are consequences. They must be discerning in who and what they protect or else the same one they’re protecting can be the same one who targets them, making them the vulnerable one, which is why channeling the opposite ashlesha energy can connect them with their vulnerability to support them in navigating strategies to protect themselves.

Dhanishta Character:

Wanda/Scarlett Witch

One of the most powerful characters in Marvel. With power like hers, it’s best used for good. However, with all she experienced, she eventually became the threat which led to her self-destruction. Initially, and her brother were fighting on the wrong side of the battle under the impression that who they were fighting for were the good ones. Once they saw the truth, they were swayed to the side of the Avengers and became protectors of the people. Both siblings were played by Dhanishtas

Capricorn: cultivating physical and social mastery

Cancer and Capricorn have an inverse relationship to power that allows them to deal with enemies.

Cancer is the stage of cultivating magnetism to draw in energy while not truly letting people in. Ashlesha nakshatra is where we see this mastery. Cancer has to recognize its own vulnerability so that they are aware of potential predators/dangers, so they craft an illusion of power and confidence to communicate to people that they aren’t touchable. Unfortunately, they can still become victim to inevitable dangers as people can use their own glamor and deception to suck them in and get to let their guard down, something cancers do not typically do. The Wizard Liz is an example of an ashlesha/cancer moon who overestimated her ability to avoid dangers and received backlash for the content she shares while still becoming a victim to a man’s deception. This is where it becomes important for cancer to recognize no matter their efforts, which there is nothing wrong with trying to decrease you risk of danger, you can still be victimized and it’s not your fault for how someone chooses to hurt and harm you. Maddy Perez is a great fictional character example of this as well as she constantly overestimated her control of her attackers and crafted an illusion of confidence as a defense mechanism.

Capricorn is about cultivating mastery in the physical form and material world, including using primal urges such as anger and aggression to drive you and to protect others. Capricorn is linked to public service and can attain social power through their status and positions of power that bring them responsibility. Usually Capricorn acts as a liaison of some sorts with Shravana having the ability to connect ppl, such as connecting bn the spiritual and physical realms in an esoteric sense, or connecting bn administration and employees in a material sense. Dhanishta links to earthly abundance so can have social and physical power but has to be careful how they use this power. If misused, it can easily become weaponized against them and then Capricorn realizes their own vulnerability. Using it for the benefit and protection of others is the best route for them. Davina Claire in The Originals is a good example. She is played by the double Capricorn Danielle Campbell. She is given a high position that gives her direct access to the New Orleans ancestors, which gives her authority over the witches to transmit the messages of the ancestors. However she is quickly humbled after letting the power get to her head. Trying to assert her dominance over a witch who challenges her authority, she misuses her position and is stripped of her status, reputation and community, making her the vulnerable one. Similar with Ali in Pretty Little Liars. She had a lot of social power but she was a bully and misused her power. Eventually the same people she bullied made her the vulnerable one and used her weaknesses against her.

Therefore, Cancer finds ways to feel powerful despite being surrounded by dangers and while it’s okay to make efforts to mitigate risks, it’s still important to recognize their vulnerability. Capricorn is given a position of power and influence but using it wrong and becoming power hungry can quickly strip them and make them just as vulnerable as the community they were meant to serve with that position.

Taurus Asc: in the position to be the curious, explorative one, able to get the reactions she wants out of ppl without trying hard, in this position she easily learns how ppl work

Mrig/Gemini Asc: put in the role of tempting others, stirring their curiosity to learn more abt her, and ppl may also put her in the position to have to figure out the tea bc she’s naturally good at it

Scorpio Moon: has internalized past hurt feelings and betrayals that can make her perceive contention and hold on to resentments but may not actually enjoy having conflict with others. She feels deeply. It’s important for her to transmute these experiences to determine if there is true conflict or not or she can hold on to betrayals that impact her current and future relationships

Jyeshta/Scorpio Sun: has broken from enough unstable bonds to walk away when she senses contention or doesn’t like what she’s getting. Able to lead when it comes to competition and able to use negative energy to fuel her self-improvement without much thought into it.

*Kenzie said she’s Gemini moon in ep1 but with her bday it isn’t possible so I suspect she switched her tropical moon and asc, making her a possible sidereal Taurus or Gemini asc. The degrees are sensitive on her moon so depending on which asc is correct, she can be Vishakha or Anuradha moon but is Scorpio moon either way.

Scorpio Asc: tends to be in the position where her energy stirs contention in others and it’s necessary for her not to play into it too much, but to use this energy for her own growth.

Mula/Sag asc: tends to be in the position of draining weaknesses in others to bring some kind of order to what’s disordered, taming any kind of destructive energy. Ppl may feel more self-conscious in her presence as she can possess a natural dominance and strength

Anuradha Scorpio Moon: responds to her environment by going towards the contention, internalizing feelings of rejection and can sense a competition that would be better used to fuel her own self-growth. She may have experienced betrayals that cause her to unconsciously or consciously test the loyalty of others as Anuradha is the star of devotion.

Vishakha/Libra Sun: her staying power is strong, but she may hold many things in before actually releasing them. She may outwardly try on different identities as she doesn’t have to be limited to how she was taught to express herself, but enjoys different connections where she can try on different hats and takes time working with her shadow to integrate it.

*Sol confirmed a tropical Sag asc, so I included both possibilities of her being either Scorpio asc or Sag/Mula asc.

SB/Aqua asc: explains why mostly everyone in the villa feels comfortable to go to Sincere to be uplifted. He likely has been put into the people pleaser role over the course of his life and he’s learned the right things to say to ppl while they spill their guts to him

Mula/Sag moon: while he’s been put in that position, as that is what the asc is, it doesn’t mean he’s actually concerned with pleasing others. He knows what he wants at the end of the day and he’s internalized that he can get what he wants even if it’s draining to others. Mula still has some kind of compassion and can show some heart. He responds to his environment by sniffing out weaknesses in others and can either be compassionate abt it or use it for his benefits. He asserts an easy dominance.

Revati/Pisces Sun: explains his nourishing presence. Like his name, ppl actually feel he is sincere based on the energy he freely expresses with everyone. His charm is his superpower and his energy is contagious. But he follows his own moral compass which may not look like everyone else’s.

In Euphoria, Lexi is played by a Swati. This video explores Lexi’s role in the show, initially in the shadows, shown through her relationships with the other characters such as Cassie’s little sister and Rue’s forgotten bestie. Both her sister and bestie are the centers of attention. Both of these girls are played by PPHs, but I want to focus on the fact that while Rue is the narrator of the show, Lexi is seemingly a passive character but is watching everything. She puts on a play to tell her version of the story as someone who has been forgotten but impacted by all the traumas happening around her. Rue is the central character, centered, narrating and is played by an Ashwini. Ketu is the body, headless, so it’s not doing much observing but more doing. Rahu is the head, so it’s observing and taking it all in. Lexi knows everything about everyone in her world, which is why she is able to deliver the story, but she is treated as secondary, not really prioritized so doesn’t really share much until she meets Fezco. Rahu operates best as an observer, and while their observations can be distorted by their judgements, by simply observing without judging, they can tell the story plain and simple. What was powerful about Lexi’s play was that she finally was able to center herself within the story as well. Rahu can be fixated on what’s happening outside of them while Ketu easily centers itself by going inward being the body. Rahu becomes empowered by going within, understanding how what’s happening on the outside is impacting them within.

*On another note I find people with Rahu ruled naks are drawn to music. Music is a cathartic way to process and express complex emotions. Rahu is skilled at displaying collective emotion and consciousness, acting as a mirror for reality. They can be muses, inspiring creation of art imitating life. They can largely be inspired by life to create art that mimics it.

In BTTF, prominent characters Marty, George, Lorraine and Biff are each played by actors with a Ketu ruled nak in their big 3s. One key theme of this film highlights how our past informs our present and future. Ketu is all about the past and traditions carried over into the present due to their effectiveness. Ketu naks are about individuality and can have a hard time cultivating a fresh identity due to the influence the past holds over them, being prompted to carry out traditions that may feel instinctual but prevent them from truly individuating, which is the goal of spiritual practice. It is necessary to channel and integrate Ketu to allow our knowledge of the past fuel the cultivating of our individuality but not to let Ketu control and drain you, keeping you repeating problematic history that is no longer effective. I’m gonna break down these Ashwini characters in the film to expand on this further:

Marty: Ashwini

Marty is the main protagonist of the trilogy. Initially he is miserable in his current reality. He has an alcoholic mother and a wimpy father whose inability to stand up for himself and his family creates problems for Marty. Once he accidentally goes back in time 30 years, he learns that his father has always been a wimp, being bullied by the same guy who still bullies him in Marty’s reality. So we see how the past informs the present as George never learned to stand up for himself, Lorraine (Marty’s mother) only married him out of sorrow and both are miserable. Marty accidentally alters the event that led to Lorraine falling for George and ends up having to get his parents together. He does this by helping George “man up” essentially, causing George to end up in a situation where he must truly take a stand to protect Lorraine and himself. Marty is successful, returns to his present and finds that he has altered his current reality in a positive way. His parents are successful and George is now a confident man who protects his family and takes risks. We can see this has altered some traits in Marty as well as we later find he becomes someone who cannot back down from a fight, not letting anyone perceive his as “chicken” which is his trigger word that later creates problems for his future down the line. Traveling 100 years into the past, he learns he has a great uncle who also couldn’t back down from a fight, and that ended horribly for him just as Marty finds himself in the position of almost getting killed standing up to the town’s bully. Knowledge of his uncles downfall and Doc mentioning how this trait negatively impacts Marty’s own future helps him make a choice to stand down as he realizes he doesn’t always have to prove he’s not a wimp. So again the opportunity to attain knowledge of the past helps Marty cultivate an identity that can balance his aggression and know when to walk away instead of having to be perceived as basically about that life. Individuating is difficult for Ashwini due to the inhaling force of the past, but Marty is able to accomplish individuating from his past. I want to point out that as a time traveler, he is also existing outside of time and consciousness. He gets this special opportunity to access his past to decide to make these key changes and choose the timeline he prefers, which I’d say relates to Ashwini too, but also mrigashira which I’ll explain more when I connect mars to this trilogy. Michael J. Fox is also mrigashira and dhanishta.

George: Ashwini

George is the father of Marty and in the initial reality, he has never stood up for himself. Lorraine fell for him and married him out of pity, and he is still being pushed around by the same guy who bullied him in high school. In the BTTF game, we find that his father Arthur was also pushed around by the father of Biff, so history tends to repeat itself a lot in this film. This is the Ketu way. George learned to stay out of the way from his father. When Marty travels to 1885, his great great grandfather Seamus is also a similar way. However with Marty’s help in 1955, George learns how to stand up for himself which alters the present, making way for a better reality for George, Lorraine and their family. So Ketu can give us access to the past to give us necessary knowledge and patterns that work, but when those patterns become ineffective such as the case with George being a wimp, it becomes a problem. Seamus, George’s great grandfather, learned to back down because the town bully was a killer and would off a person in a flash for any little thing. Arthur, George’s father, was involved in a gang being pushed around by Kid Tannen, Biff’s father, so the dangers of that were far more significant than Biff who just pushed around anyone who was easy to push around. Standing down was no longer effective for George, and simply standing up to him was enough to alter George’s present. He was able to individuate from the patterns passed down to him.

Biff: Ashwini

In the current reality, Biff is George’s boss, pushing him around as he always has. In 1955, we see Biff was George’s bully, and as Marty travels back in time more, we see that ancestrally the Tannen family has a history of bullying, asserting their dominance, especially pushing around the McFly family. In the game, Biff’s father Kid Tannen runs a gang so incites a lot of fear into the townspeople. In 1885, Buford Tannen is the town’s bully. He’s known as Mad Dog Tannen because he’s so quick with his gun, killing anyone with a flash for any reason. It’s funny enough that while the Tannens have historically bullied a McFly, Marty, a McFly, travels in time and unintentionally takes down each one. Anyway this is the Ketu influence of the past repeating itself. Throughout history the McFly’s have not stood up to the Tannen’s, allowing their bullying to go unchecked and to continue. Ketu is linked to past lives so it’s interesting that the Tannen’s and McFly’s keep interacting throughout history playing the same role. One could say the Tannen’s become a key player in the lessons the McFly’s must learn in standing up for themselves and protecting the ones they love. As Biff is taken down by George eventually, this alters Biff’s current reality. Initially, Biff was the boss of George. In the altered reality, George is the boss of Biff, having stood up for himself, he was able to subdue Biff. However, this doesn’t change Biff’s tendency to seek power, as once he learned about the Time Machine, he steals it to alter his present making himself a kind of Donald Trump (who is magha, another Ketu nak). Biff comes from a line of men who were powerful in some, using their brute force to disarm others and dominate, so it is in his DNA to seek power. It represents how we unconsciously channel the instincts and knowledge of our ketus that store our DNA, past lives/ancestral history and abilities, that helps inform our current identities. Ultimately, it shows that Biff has been unable to truly individuate from his past as Ashwini can have a difficult time with as well.

In her UBP exploration, Claire Nakti explains that UBP transitions from the impact of the Evil Stepmother (Crone) to the Fairy Godmother (Juno) archetypes as the Cosmic Cinderella. After all the oppression and unjust treatment Cinderella faces, she is offered an opportunity of rest and relief from the fairy godmother, which symbolizes UBP finally surrendering to the care of the universe that Revati ultimately learns to skillfully channel as the Nepo Baby nakshatra.

So it’s no wonder that UBP was the highest nakshatra overall in Claire’s recent lawyer study, and Pushya also came up high. A lawyer comes to the aid of someone in distress with the law or seeking justice from a perpetrator like the Fairy Godmother came to the aid of Cinderella who faced much turmoil. UBP was offered an opportunity of rest and then becomes that same advocate for others once they’ve ascended as Claire touched on briefly in her recent Uttara Phalguni/Aladdin video.

UBP finds their own strength in the face of turmoil and pressure, never crumbling and then gains access to care and relief, and then they help others find their own strength too. Saturn is the planet of justice and karmic retribution. We can see this extends to the other saturn naks as well. Pushya tends to play in roles where they are law enforcers as both Pushya and UBP are apart of the warrior caste nakshatras. Anuradha is highly prominent in the Marvel films with the other Saturn naks showing up in Marvel along with other superhero/action films serving as protectors and bringing justice. In these films, we often see them fighting the unjust, corrupted system fighting for the good of the people.

Pushya: the power to create spiritual energy. Its deity is Brihaspati, the guru of the gods.

Anuradha: the power of worship, bringing honor and abundance. Its deity is Mitra, said to be a friend of the three worlds.

I am inspired by Claire’s new video explaining key details about ashlesha’s connection to maximizing magnetism through beauty and glamour.

It seems Mercury naks have an important cosmic task to draw energy into themselves by becoming so self-focused, people can’t help but to be mesmerized by them. It explains the tropical transition of fire signs actually being Mercury nakshatras, so naturally our idea of Mercury naks would actually mirror some of the traits of tropical fire signs. Mercury has to skillfully use their energy after overcoming the hurdles and finding inner strength in the saturn naks.

Ashlesha: draws energy towards them by focusing on their own magnetism and forming a love for themselves, coiling its energy around itself

Jyeshta: achieves the highest things by becoming self-obsessed, channeling their tendency to fixate onto their own desires and self-improvement rather than discharging it outward onto others of envy
