This nakshatra is closely related to my favourite of the Hindu gods in Hindu God multiverse.

SHIVA in the form of RUDRA is said to be the deity of this nakshatra. Shiva is known as the destroyer ( Brahma- Creator, Vishnu - Sustainer ).

Ardra natives are truly unique (outcasts). They don't fit into the society. To actually tap into the ardra energy you'll have to step out of the norms, society. Ardra natives are looking for a purpose at their core, this search actually drives them out of the society , where they develop their unique identity.

Lord Shiva also has a transgender form called Ardhanarishvara.

💧Hence I would also associate transgender people, LGBTQ+ to this nakshatra , who for centuries have been not included in societies.

💧Ardra also denotes nomads, those who don't have a fixed home ( as a Ardra sun my deep need to become a digital nomad shoots up atleast once a day 👹)

💧Those stories where you see rich , successful individuals who at some point in life decide that they aren't internally fulfilled and set off on this journey for this unique cause ( eg: opening animal shelters, becoming environmental activists, becoming volunteers for a social cause) is peak Ardra energy.

💧Being Vegan is also Ardra energy ( I turned vegetarian few years ago , might go vegan someday)

💧 Ardra is also breaking the societal norms, being a rebel since birth.

💧 Innovative, new tech , all the AI stuff is all linked to Ardra.

Lastly ,

These people are Aghoris , an extreme sect of ascetic Shaivite monks, they worship Lord Shiva.

Whenever I meet/interact with a series of individuals who all share the same Moon sign and similar-ish life experiences, I feel 😳✍🏻🤔🧐. I'm sure many of you can relate to gaining (second-hand) insights of this sort through the lived experiences of people you cross paths with.

And it is in this fashion that I started noticing how many Cow Yoni natives (the nakshatras of Uttara Bhadrapada & Uttara Phalguni) often experience abandonment, neglect and "unwantedness" early in life. Now, there are a variety of nakshatras that could experience these themes. Abandonment and neglect are human experiences and not exclusive to just one or two nakshatras. HOWEVER, I wanted to extrapolate on why these two naks/Cow Yoni natives, specifically, go through this journey of being abandoned and then "choosing" themselves.

But before we start with that, I want to distinguish between Uttara Phalguni (UP) and Uttara Bhadrapada (UBP).

UP is a Sun ruled nak. It is of the Kshatriya caste. The deity of this nak is Aryaman, who rules over contracts, friendships and matrimony. The symbol is a bed and it represents marital union. (Distinct from Purvaphalguni that represents the wild, passionate romantic union, UP is focused on the commitment and duty of marriage). It ranges between Leo and Virgo rashis.

UBP is a Saturn ruled nak. It is also of the Kshatriya caste. The deity is Ahir Budhnya, a water dragon that resides at the depths of the ocean. He is the God of fertility, kundalini and requires seclusion. It falls entirely within Pisces rashi.

Now what do cows represent in Hindu mythology?

Cows represent abundance, fertility and non-violence. They are the supreme providers, who are selflessly giving---- or, are they?

It's not really innate to a cow's nature to give, but rather that, their bodies and their ABILITY to nourish are exploited and taken for granted. Cows don't stand around going "omg milk meeee😩😩". They were domesticated and forced into prolonged pregnancies in order to produce milk that can satiate humans. So cows are, even in India, where they're worshipped, widely exploited for human benefit, like most creatures are. Also keep in mind that cows are female.

Now, I want to start with perhaps the world's most famous orphan. Harry Potter.

The titular character was played by Daniel Radcliffe, who has Uttara Bhadrapada Moon. The Harry Potter series was written by J.K Rowling, who has Uttara Phalguni Moon

One thing about Cow Yoni natives and their experience of abandonment that sets them apart from others who experience similar things is the fact that Cow Yoni natives, almost always, come up in society, are well-regarded and despite early traumatic experiences, they achieve traditional/conventional success and are by and large, "accepted" by society as adults.

Lacking nourishment and being isolated/separated from loved ones or lacking loving parent figures is a key defining theme in the lives of these natives. Especially if their chart also contains Mleccha/Outcaste nakshatras.

Harry Potter may have grown up as an unwanted orphan but he's also The Chosen One and literally the most famous wizard to have ever lived etc.

JK Rowling also lost her mum young and had traumatic early life experiences, living in near poverty and being a single mom.

Prince Harry, Uttara Phalguni Sun

He was only 12 years old when he lost his mom. And her death affected him differently than it did Prince William. Harry did not enjoy the same status or "belonging" within his own (royal) family. William was always going to be the next King. He even stepped down/away from the Royal Family; something that is virtually unheard of. He was always the black sheep of the family and kind of the perpetual third wheel.

Jobs was given up for adoption at birth by his parents. And this abandonment shaped him for life.

He was severely abused as a child and left home when he was quite young.

Well, we all know how abusive Judy's childhood was. She was literally drugged in order to keep up her tough filming schedule, so, idk if I need to elaborate on the neglect bit.

Sometimes, being orphaned isn't about literally growing up without parents but rather that the adult/parental figures in your life don't adequately protect or shield you from anything so you're kind of left to fend for yourself.

Charles Dickens, Uttara Phalguni Rising with Mars in UBP in 7h

He was not an orphan, however he endured a difficult and traumatizing childhood after his father went to debtor's prison when he was 12. He had to leave school and start working at a factory. This inspired his works like David Copperfield and Oliver Twist, who are both orphans.

Dev Patel, UBP Moon, has played an orphan in a string of films, including, Slumdog Millionaire, Lion and The Personal History of David Copperfield.

Freddie Bartholomew, Uttara Bhadrapada Sun, played David Copperfield in the 1935 film.

It is also worth noting that the 1999 British adaptation of David Copperfield was the acting debut of Daniel Radcliffe, UBP Moon

He also played an orphan in the 2007 film, December Boys

Asa Butterfield, Mars in Uttara Phalguni atmakaraka, with Saturn conjunct Ketu in UBP

He's played an orphan in films like Hugo, Enders Game and an emotionally neglected/isolated child in The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.

Frequently cast as orphaned or parentless boys in the 1940s, including My Friend Flicka, Thunderhead, Son of Flicka, and Macbeth.

Now, orphanhood/unwantedness can manifest in many ways other than abandonment/neglect. Institutionalized, or parentless children, or children who aren't sufficiently cared for, still experience unwantedness in some ways.

Haley Joel Osment has played an "unwanted" child in several films. The Sixth Sense, in which he is emotionally neglected, with an absent father. Pay It Forward features an abusive alcoholic mother and an absent father.

A.I. Artificial Intelligence, where he is literally abandoned by the family that adopted him. Secondhand Lions, where he is dumped by his irresponsible mother with two elderly uncles.

Jackie Coogan, Uttara Phalguni Rising

Jackie Coogan became famous for playing abandoned children in movies like The Kid, Oliver Twist and Daddy.

Miyazaki, who has Moon conjunct Ketu in Uttara Bhadrapada, often casts orphan children as his protagonists.

Now, circling back to the bit where I mentioned how both these naks belong to the Kshatriya caste. This is the warrior caste. They are 2nd highest in the caste hierarchy. However, unlike the Brahmin caste, who are scholarly/priestly, Kshatriyas are soldiers. This means that despite being accepted by general society and not facing social alienation, they still have to go to battle and endanger their lives to stay where they are. This represents the peculiar duality, where they have to endure extreme hardships, trauma and "soldier" through life, but to the outside world, they are highly successful, well liked, well to do individuals.

But the reason why I specifically pointed out the toxic hatred just because of an individual "observation" made out on a particular placement is because hate is like forest fire, it moves very fast and often times gets very subconsciously embedded which can show up in negative impacts on the individuals that might be consuming that particular "observation" list

​neecha = debilitated/weak. bhanga = cancelled. raj yoga = king-like success.

​basically, every planet has a sign where it feels like absolute garbage. (like the moon in scorpio, venus in virgo, or mars in cancer). when a planet is debilitated, it is suffocating. u will usually face intense insecurities, delays, or straight-up failures in whatever that planet represents early in life.

Popularly, the Gemini sign is seen as bipolar; its natives are characterized as dual. Modern (Western) astrology believes that this sign is represented by two identical figures, twin brothers. When I was a follower of tropical astrology, I heard an explanation for why Geminis carried this dual characteristic: it has to do with two twin brothers where one dies and the other goes to the underworld and asks to switch places with his brother (some versions say that the brother asks for his brother to return to life). Maithuna/Mithuna is a sanskrit term representing a sexual union ritual. I won't post images here due to Tumblr's policy, but when searching for images of Mithuna on Google, you'll come across pictures of statues of a man and a woman in erotic poses.

Mithuna is a representation of a man and a woman, side by side, each touching the other's genitals. They are not engaging in sexual intercourse, there is no penetration, but they are in contact with regions that carry the symbolism of the primordial energy of both man and woman. Therefore, Mithuna (Gemini) is the representation of the symbiosis between masculine and feminine energy.

Gemini is dual because it carries two energies: masculine and feminine. Regardless of gender, Gemini natives are able to be expansive because they possess both energies. Living in a society where they have to choose a side is a big problem for Geminis. Gemini is not dual to the point of separation, but rather of integration, and that is why natives are indecisive and do not make quick decisions: they don't want to choose between one or the other, they want both, they want everything.

I previously spoke about the Ardra nakshatra and its rebellious nature, but I believe that Gemini in general carries this rebellious air, of being different and not fitting into a social pattern due to the integration of two opposing energies, the feminine and the masculine. Their worldview is not separated between what is feminine and what is masculine since they possess this natural integration. Gemini women, for example, usually exhibit tomboyish characteristics from childhood, or dislike girly games like playing house.

Mithuna is the perfect symbiosis between masculine and feminine energy; they possess the ability to understand the difference between the two sides and become indecisive when choosing only one. I believe it's a mistake to describe Gemini as dual because even when they choose a side, they don't remain faithful to their choice and keep fluctuating, leading others to describe them as deceitful. Gemini unites, it doesn't separate. It is symbiosis of duality, not separation.

Their dual nature, between feminine and masculine, is reflected in their appearance. It is described that those born under the sign of Gemini typically possess androgynous characteristics, which is a blend of masculine and feminine physical traits resulting in an ethereal appearance.
