Hey! My name is Nicole - Nico to my friends (and readers!). I started this blog a while ago to try and keep my mental health in check and look at some pretty pictures along the way. But I quickly lost interest and motivation to keep up with it because I realized I wasn’t actually writing about anything that I liked. I was barely looking at images of what I liked, instead, I was trying to curate everything to what I thought would bring in the most views. I don’t know where I was going with it, but I figured at some point if I had a lot of people looking at my stuff and telling me I was pretty I would feel better. And when that didn’t happen, I went back to losing all interest. Then I start cooking again, I’ve spent my days obsessively looking up new recipes to try, buying weird ingredients that I never heard of before to try in a dish… and that’s when I realized that cooking is what makes me happy and I wanted to share it with everyone.

So I guess what I’m trying to say is welcome to my new and improved blog (sorta)! I hope you stick around and get to see (and try) some of my own recipes, as well as ones that I attempt to make.
