Hi friends! You guys are on my heart today... Above is the set list for City Life Church Worship gathering tomorrow morning. If you don't have a church home and have thought about maybe checking it out then I would love to be the friend you check it out with tomorrow! Or if you don't feel welcome or lost in the churches you have been visiting then I know not only my pastors and I would welcome you to City Life but there are some pretty precious kiddos that are like professional greeters-you would love them! :) Anyways, even if I don't see you tomorrow my friends, you are on my heart. Thoughts over dinner: You want to know what I'm learning? I'm learning to be thankful for being an adult. Yeah, I'm actually an adult, I know right?! It's crazy. On most days I feel like the farthest thing from a responsible adult. Want to hear the brutal truth? Some days I feel much more like a young, needy child or a lonely loser or a friend that seems forgotten or a girl with so much potential yet no success or a dreamer with failed dreams or a sad 20-something whose life doesn't look like she thought or hoped it would by year 25.... But the Lord has talked to me about those feelings and he's called them out for what they are: LIES FROM THE ENEMY! He's spoken TRUTH over my heart over and over again and he won't stop being the truth. He won't stop reminding me in every way possible in my life that HE IS MORE THAN ENOUGH AND HE IS ALL THAT I WILL EVER NEED. He is constant in all of my messed up emotion and my running away from Him covered in excuses to make myself feel like I'm not running from Him. He is there, constant in everything. Every day, every mundane or glorious or heartbreaking day, he is there. And if there's one thing I've learned as an adult it's just that: He will always be there no matter what my life may look like. Praise the Lord for this! 🙌🏽 also, praise the Lord for dinner and the strength to cook it and enjoy it even after a long day of being an adult, in His name, amen! ☺️👍🏽
