Whale is a slang term for someone who spends money on gacha games regularly. Oftentimes the term is used derisively to refer to people who act like being able to afford buying the summoning currency (Quartz/Orbs/Etc.) in bulk makes them better than everyone else, but it can also be a neutral term to simply refer to someone who spends lots of money on gacha games as a matter of fact.
