・The judge raised concerns about the amount of money the pair had spent on lawyers, saying: “The level of costs in this case, totalling over £800,000, are manifestly excessive for the determination of the dispute, which involves capital sums not much greater at the end of the day than £10m.”

・Appleton had claimed that Gallagher’s legal costs were “manifestly excessive”. The judge was told that Gallagher’s solicitors charged higher fees and he said there was “clearly here a disparity between the costs”.

・The judge concluded that Gallagher and Appleton had assets totalling £10.8m and each should get £5.4m.

・Patrick Chamberlayne QC, for Nicole, told Mr Justice Mostyn, “This couple have not spoken about their divorce in a warring way, scoring points against each other through the press. There is no public criticism by Ms Appleton against Mr Gallagher's behaviour, although there could have been. And he has not suggested she should be criticised.”

well my older brother came with me, as a birthday present he'd spent decent money on everything so I didn't want to faint 🤣 I did inside, it was 2012 very early hfb, he was in Paris the venue was small looked like a church, packed so you felt closer to him anyway, he kept checking the disabled bit out of habit, there were young kids on their brothers hips so they could see, he got them to move by the side of the stage for safety, he was being such a dad the kids felt so special
