raise your hand if you’ve been such a hardcore loyal fan of taylor swift through every cycle of public disdain (particularly 2012 and 2016) that you have a very strong fight or flight response every time she is brought up in conversation because you’re either ready to get in an argument defending her against unfair hate or get uncharacteristically quiet because you’re so used to being ridiculed for liking her and defending her, even now that she is back in the public’s good graces 🙋‍♀️
