I’ve seen “swifties” say Anti Hero is her most self aware song and that she wasn’t self aware on Showgirl and I’m just like? Anti Hero is great but self loathing does not equal self awareness, maybe aware of all your insecurities but I swear some fans just hate her and they want her to hate herself too

it’s so funny because anti hero isn’t even really self aware at all because most of the things she says about herself in that song are deeply rooted insecurities or symptoms of mental illness, not an accurate depiction of her flaws 😂 it’s very raw, but it isn’t even the most self-aware song on midnights! she has explained this outright so the fact that people keep saying otherwise is concerning!

I will die on the hill that wanting your man to make more is toxic. It’s toxic to men tying their value up in salary, and it’s toxic to women bc this is part of why historically female jobs pay less. Nothing wrong with wanting a man who is ambitious, hard working etc

look, we live in a society, and most people aren’t revolutionaries against said society in their personal lives, so I understand wanting them to make more. is that my personal desire? no. wealth (and the traditional masculinity associated with it, for better or worse) is attractive, but I don’t want to be a passive creature to a rich man long term lol. quite the opposite.

where I personally draw the line is the trend of ‘I don’t wanna work hehe I’ll be a stay at home gf.’ you are opening yourself up to a lifetime of financial abuse lol. not saying every man will do this! many, if not most, won’t! but it’s a possibility! he may just stop liking you one day! and you’ll have zero power. you don’t have to make more than your husband if you’re just not that driven, but man, HAVE A SOURCE OF INCOME.

I’m one of 3 and my wife is one of 2, and I think 2 babies is probably the perfect number. Tables at restaurants, amusement park rides, etc, all are perfect for 4 people and awkward for 5 lol

i don’t think there’s a “perfect” number but i think two is the most common for this reason. however i do think people underrate being an only. i loved it

I think most are perfectly normal but some can be really weird when they talk about kids. They’re a bit delusional about how they were as children and act like kids misbehaving in a normal way is just not something they ever did.
