authors have been referring to eyes as "orbs" for so long so sometimes I'll be reading 19th century literature and I'll see a line about "pure, gentle orbs" and flinch like an abused child

the fox girls are absolutely synced up and kevin day is scared

andreil small intimacies. making each other breakfast in the morning, existing in the kitchen together. washing their laundry in the same load. linking pinkies when sitting at dinner with the other foxes. stopping and buying each other gum and cigarettes without a second thought. head scratches. making coffee. grabbing a blanket when the other is cold. etc.

college is actually great. i get to take a class and talk about italian renaissance architecture and everyone's beef with the papacy in the 1500s. then i get to talk about books from the 1890s and how oscar wilde made everyone gay. then i get to go to a class where we do community based writing partnered with a nonprofit and talk about the importance of community in appalachia. become an english major and your heart will be filled with whimsy
