Hey everyone! I did not expect to not post for two months, but I am back! I have officially graduated from my master's degree last month and went on vacation afterwards. I got sick during, but I had a blast (so much that I miss it). Furthermore, I am back to being healthy!
Anyway, I am opening commissions!! I decided not to do it on Ko-fi because I wanted a little more flexibility in this (I am not sure how commissions function over there).
I hope the information provided on the sheets are clear. If you're interested or have any questions, please reach out through DM! Spreading the word is heavily appreciated!

Okay, I actually posted it last week, but I forgot to post it here. I had to abbreviate the title, because otherwise, it would have been too long. šš Anyway, this is a commission for anqel on Discord! These are the characters from our D&D group: Shadows Beneath the Crystal Veil. We are a very large group as you can see. š
The story of the campaign is that a High Sorceress named Morgana was murdered by an unknown demon one day. She was the protector of the Crystal Heart, which kept Arcadia safe from the demon realm. However, it has been stolen. The king calls forth a group of adventurers to have them venture Hell in search of the artifact. These are the chosen ones.
Honestly, the story is both dark as hell yet hilarious (like every D&D story š¤£) because man, do we get caught up in the weirdest situations... I shall list the characters from left to rightā then front right to front leftā and give a short description of them, because everyone is so awesome, I swear.
š·Aurelius: A young Cambion (half-devil, half-human) ambassador and future Lord of the Pride District. He's both a warlock and a sorcerer. He is sarcastic, a diva, and unusually charismatic. Generally the one who gets us out of trouble. He also is a bit of a debauchee. He likes to give people nicknames for some reason.
šŖ½"Robin" (D&D Lilyana): She is my character. Like in the original universe, she is a Human lady and a singer. In our D&D campaign, Lilyana is a healer (sorceress) and forcibly engaged with a Celestial named Amadeus (he's different from OG Amadeus). She's a sweetheart, maybe a little too good for herself and a horrible liar. Fun fact: Robin is a nickname Aurelius gave to her. "A lovely name for a lovely songstress."
š„Seharis "Ris": an Eladrin Elf who works as an assassin. She is an enigma, but she was once a consort of Grazt'z, the Demon Prince of Pleasure and one of the main antagonists of this campaign (Amadeus is becoming a close second). Their relationship is... very complicated. I honestly love her, but she can be shifty. >_>
š”ļøBohdi: A human fighter and former guardian of Morgana. He carries guilt over his failure to protect Morgana. He now guards the newly appointed sorceress, Emma. He's... not the sharpest tool in the shed, but it's extremely important that you know that he's shiny and very good with crows XD
š¹Heron: A Cambion paladin, former gladiator, and Hound of Horus, the Duke of Wrath. He's very passionate about fighting (he's in a contract to kill 10,000 people, he has claimed 6,000.) But he's quite jovial and a man with strong family values. He has a sister and a mother who he adores. He also has a panda named Chicken Nugget. So he's friendly, nothing too bad.
šæEillenae: An Eladrin Elf druid with a very mysterious past. She's bubbly and sassy to a degree, but when it comes to questioning, she becomes dodgy, more so than Ris. Her appearance changes with the seasons or moods (right now, this is her autumn form). She's also crazy powerful and has a scary but adorable rabbit named Mr. Waffles.
šŗ"Pouncing Dagger" Praxis: A Tabaxi ranger who is on a search for their brother, Arrow. Their past is also a bit of a mystery and they are in constant survival mode. Fortunately, they do find their brother and embark on a different adventure (the player left for scheduling reasons, but I wanted to include them because they were an integral part of the team). They also happen to be a bartender. A very good one at that.
šMamsey: A warlock Plasmoid (slime) who works as a chef. They belong to well... @Mamsey š They used to be a human man, but a very sickly one. They made a pact with an unknown entity (who later turns out to be the Duchess of Gluttony) in order to give them another body. Now they're a slime and very happy about it. They are goofy, chaotic, but can be serious when the occasion calls for it. Honestly the comic relief of this campaign. They also left, but I wanted to include them with the muffin they heavily promote because... Yes. š«” They HAVE to be in.
I actually have a scenario written when I finished it, which I will share with you all~ ā¤ļø
Aurelius: Everyone, gather around so we can get this over with.
Bohdi: What's that?
Aurelius: It's a camera. An apparatus meant to capture us in real time.
Bohdi: A what?
Eillenae: Ohhh, you mean like a painting?!
Aurelius: Aā
Lilyana: That sounds wonderful! I wonder if it can capture magic.
Aurelius: Just stand over here and make a pose.
Ris: Well don't mind me, I will just stand here with a mistletoe.
Heron: I'm taking this spot! *Holds both Bohdi and Eillenae* Is this the part where we say "cheese?"
Bohdi: Why cheese?
Mamsey: Cheese? Who said cheese?
Everyone except Ris: Mamsey!
Aurelius: Mamsey, get out of the camera and stand behind us!
Mamsey: Oh, is this like a promotional material?
Eillenae: I think so?
Aurelius: No it'sā
Mamsey: Oh, in that case, I can show my muffin! *Pops it up*
Lilyana: Fox, does it have a timer?
Aurelius: Yes, and if you don't hurry up, it'llā
*Praxis shows up*
Aurelius: Praxis, not you too!
Praxis: It has an eye.
Aurelius: Get out of theā
Ris: Darling, can it hurry up? My face is starting to hurt.
Lilyana: I know! I'll do this trick since it's Christmas!
Heron and Eillenae: Cheeeeeeseee!!
Bohdi: Why do we have to say cheese?
Aurelius: Will you all just shut up?!
Mamsey: "Mamsey's Marvelous Muffins, coming to a restaurant near you!"
Aurelius: MAMSEY!

If you read this far, thank you so much! ;-;šššš This took me a long time to finish, but I loved every second of it. I tell you, it looks better and smoother in real life. Colored pencils for some reason look weird on the scanner.
This is a commission piece for an anonymous user. The character (they're the same person) is Gigi from the game, "Dandy's World." I never played or heard of it, but she sounds like a sweetie, and her twisted version is kind of sick! š„š„ I finished it literally in New Year. The holidays aren't over here in PR šš½š² It's no longer Christmas once SanSe is over. Just in case, SanSe or "Las fiestas de la Calle San SebastiĆ”n" is a 4-day traditional celebration in Old San Juan at a specific street where people party, dance to bomba and plena, there's like a sort of a cultural parade and there are LOTS of artisans selling. Thousands of people go there every yearā and for context, the street is very small. So it gets extremely crowded. Nights are very crazy. Anyway, I am going on a side tangent. š
It was quite an interesting commission. I've never drawn characters based on objects or that they have a more cartoony art style compared to my own, which is a weird blend of anime and semi-realism. I know this is an unusual artwork from what I do, but it was fun to do. Especially with markers, Ohuhus are neat to use!
I am still open for commission if anyone is interested! :D
Or if you want to support me in some other way, you can donate on my Ko-fi page or visit my shop!
Of course, interactions help a lot! Regardless, I hope you like it! š
I forgot to share this here. But, since I haven't drawn much these months consistently, and I do not feel comfortable sharing my face, I can't do an art summary or an art vs. artist type of thing. So I did the 4 Best/Favorite Artworks of 2025.
A little train-of-thought about 2025:
It's been one heck of a year, both personally and artistically. I can't believe it's over, in fact. I haven't done as much art as I would have liked and wanted, mostly because I started major projects. This year, I have only finished 1 out of many. 2025 was another year where I would promise myself that I'd do more, but end up doing less and keep going on hiatuses because I am extremely slow or my health is failing. I can't pretend it was a bad year, though. I achieved big milestones like finishing and graduating with a master's degree, getting a job (although I know I complained about it like a week ago. I will say it hasn't gotten any better), and starting to being more active as a business ownerā entering and going to events once or twice a month to sell my art. This December I took a break from selling because I need to revamp how my booth looks. I feel like there's always something that needs to be improved on.
I truly need to set up as a goal to be more forgiving to myself when it comes to setbacks. To not punish myself for not drawing enough or for not making "good" art. I know lately I have been mostly publishing art that I will use as merch, and I apologize if it comes off as salesy. I love storytelling and I want to share it with the world because I love what I do and I want to share a tale, rather than just do it for mere promotion. Though, my biggest lifelong goal is to live off doing the things I love, which are writing and drawing. Albeit I struggle a lot with real-life interactions, I have grown to love selling my art and I want to continue that path. Especially since I've been feeling very stressed and unhappy with my day job. But I have to work to basically fund my business and pay for booth fees (which a lot of them are ridiculously expensive). But I will say it's been growing slowly but steadily!
As an artistic New Year's Resolution, I want to finish at least 2 of the projects I started this year, continue my graphic novel as always, set up a more consistent time and schedule for drawing, make more works for merch, and participate in more events/cons. I already have three lined up in 2026! Two of them are huge cons, one of them lasts for 3 days! I'm not going to be too ambitious for 2026 because things can change or life happens and I end up doing less again. All I know for sure is that I want to grow as an artist and a person.
I truly hope 2026 is a year where we can all triumph in our goals and dreams. And if your goal this year was to make it through at least, I'm proud of you. It hasn't been an easy year for many, but I am happy you're here. ā¤ļø I'm glad to be here as well, even if my days leading up 'til now have been extremely nerve-wracking. As always, thank you all for sticking by me all these years, despite my inconsistency, I love you all!! šš I hope you have a Happy New Year!
Imagine being called worthless by your boss because you only work part time and the full timers are the "spine" of the company. Meanwhile, there are only 1-2 full timers, the rest are part timers. But that's okay because "We're all family!"

Around Sunday, I was sorting through books at work. Because my job involves vetting books to make sure they don't have explicit content, don't have black spots on top of the paper, or are too old, wrinkled or wet to then take them to the bookshelves. All books are donations we get, so they need to get that quality check. The arts and crafts section was getting empty, so I needed to add more or bigger books for it. I came across one that was called "Romanticism." It was a large, heavy book containing all the works and descriptions about the arts in the Romantic era and its artists.
I sorted through ALL the pages to make sure there were no explicit contentā because even nudity was a yellow flag. Which I find it a little unfair, but I understand that people tend to be conservative. There was a lot of it, alright. But... I couldn't help but to admire those and the rest of the arts that were displayed. The amount of detail and dedication these artists had to depict every single crease of clothing, every dash of color, backgrounds involving stormy clouds, forest, mountains, crashing waves, and buildings... They were the ones who coined the word "sublime". Because experiencing these works are something else. It's bone-chilling in the best way. It was just... beautiful. I personally love the Romantic, the Baroque, and the Renaissance era for many reasons. They feature the most breathtaking works you can imagine.
Throughout all of this, I thought to myself: is this what AI and all these dystopian companies want to replace? Do they really think art is that discardable? That weak? That worthless? So easy to replicate? The human mind is a very powerful thing. No matter what they say, human creativity will always outperform computer-generated images. Because art is not about only looking pretty and perfect (though AI "art" is not at all perfect, but it tries to be) and fast results. It's about the experience, the process, the emotions they provoke on people's psyche. That touch of awe or that sense of discomfort they bring, because ugliness can also be artistic. But it's different when you count six melted fingers, uncanny-valley smoothness and robotic movements. I mean ugliness in the psychological sense. When you see something that deeply unsettles you or makes you think about something (there's no such thing as bad art). AI will never reach the level as these artists did. And though they were underappreciated at the time, their works remain timeless and precious for us. Something that can never be replaced or imitated. And the day they say, "Look, AI art can look just as good as the Mona Lisa and you won't ever be able to tell the difference," I will still lean over the original (though there are better works than that to tell you the truth.) Because at least I know it was made by human hands that aimed to draw us in for centuries.
More than likely that book will never see the light of day because I showed it to my supervisor and he said that it might not even be placed in the display cabinet because there are so many nudes and sensual works that it might be too much for the general public. But honestly, I hope it is hidden behind the cabinet for someone to take, appreciate, and know their value as a person. Because more than ever, we are being classed as obsolete or inferior.
Moral of the story: don't ever stop using a pencil, a brush, or a stylus because the world is telling you to. Keep making art because in the end, under a sea of AI-genetated images, your works will be the ones that will stand the test of time. And history will acknowledge it as the new Vanguard, who knows? Let's be the new Romantics in an age where technology and automation are making waves.
If you read it this far, thank you. Please keep up being beautiful and amazing. Here's a cookie to cheer your day. šŖ
Hello! It has been two years since I've drawn this character, and I thought she needed a resurgence. I know this is not a Halloween-y picture for sure š But her backstory is probably good for a spooky day like this.
For a brief reintroduction: This is Kimmi Moon Stanfield. She's a half-Korean, half-American fashion designer and model. She exists in the same world as Hanami and Reina, so she has a superpower. She can manipulate metal through hand movements alone. She also has the ability to harden her skin like steel, making her slower, but very strong and resistant. The downside is that she has to consume food with high degrees of Iron and Calcium or else, her bones will begin to weaken. Sometimes, she goes to extremes and eats real metalā which greatly enhances her power, but makes her sick.
Now it's time for the backstory that I promised to tell long ago (It's going to be a long read). š
The daughter of a South Korean mother and an American father, Kimmi's upbringing was relatively idyllic. She was raised by an upper middle-class family. Both parents had gifts, but they were ashamed of bearing themā hence the family considered and treated their superhuman traits as a dangerous weapon that they must never unleash. Such an attitude affected their child in the future and it began to reflect at schools. Kimmi's power manifested when she was eight years old, during a confrontation with bullies. The aftermath left her gravely ill and for her to be transferred to a different academy. Ever since the event, she tried to blend better with the crowd.
During that time, she grew a deep love for fashion. The prospects of being a designer were high, yet she harnessed the dream of becoming a heroine. Despite her family's wishes, she enrolled into prestigious academies for the Gifted, until she was finally recommended for the Hero program. In a surprise twistā she neglected it, but applied to receive a license to have her skills put into use in everyday life. The training and education was untrodden at the time, and too arduous for her to withstand. Especially for a youth who had nourished under an insecure perspective over her talents. Now at 21, she established her reputation as an up-and-coming clothing designer, changing the world at her own volition.
One day, like many others, she witnessed on television the terrifying introduction of a villain named Breaker and the debut of a heroine called Yako, who they would turn out to be Eli (who belongs to WakingNights-Iwaku) and Hanami (mine). Their confrontation was brutal, yet she triumphed. Kimmi developed an admiration for the heroine Yako, in spite of her violent methods. Day turned to night, and on her way home, she bumped into someone who emerged from an alleyway. That person turned out to be none other than the defeated villain, Breaker. They engaged in a skirmish, where she thought she would best him. However, something she did not acknowledge is that he could control metal as well. Despite his condition, he knocks her unconscious. But instead of killing her, he decided to bring her to his base.
She woke up in a white cell that resembled a hospital room, with a metallic door. She managed to destroy it. Yet Kimmi found herself in a hallway filled with similar rooms and seemingly no way out. However, Eli appeared. She promised she would essentially be rescued in no time due to her reputation. He scoffed at the thought, denoting to her that they were isolated from the rest of the world. No one would know if she was dead or aliveā and he liked to have it remain that way for as long as he ādeemed appropriate.ā Indeed, minutes passed. Then hours, then days. Then weeks. Kimmi lost her sense of time being surrounded by white walls. Throughout that time, she was subjected to a bit of psychological torment, yet he also took care of her like a guest. He offered to train her to be stronger at some point, but even with that, she could still never best him. Having only his company warped her mind to degrees where she could not tell right from wrong, friend or foe. Thus, she started to develop feelings for her captor, sharing his ideologies and equal hatred for the heroes. Particularly towards his nemesis, Yako. Thus becoming his first and most devout member of his organization.
Kimmi used to be bubbly and sweet, now sheās obsessive over her new leader, jealous, and a shell of her former self.
As it happens every year: I say I want to post horror art on October, but end up showing them on November because ya girl's slow. š I can't believe it's Halloween week now, why did it have to go so fast?! š
There is no deep symbolism behind this piece, that I thought of (because I've been asked). I just wanted to make something cute and a little mystical. So why not draw my favorite goth girl hanging onto the crescent moon? š
This is the first time in like a decade or more than I draw a chibi version of an OC. Yes, this is chibi Dahlia. š It's completely different from how I used to draw chibis. Doesn't look chibi-esque, but I love it. Anyway, this is a new sticker design, too! It was meant to be showcased for the first time in an event on October 18, but it got cancelled. So I am going to sell it for the first time at the annual Japanese Culture Fest at my old uni (UPR- RĆo Piedras Campus, Student Center) instead. It'll be on Tuesday, October 21st from 10am-4:30pm.
I have other stickers that I haven't sold before, but I'm excited to debut this! š
Is it too early to post a winter-themed artwork in October? š
I'm back from my unexpected hiatus!!! š Though I admit I don't have much in my arsenal because I have been drawing more for myself (and a couple of videos, which don't worry, you will see). I have also been working on my graphic novel here. It's been very busy few months.
Anyway, I want to start off with an entry for @/bemdraws 's (Artfol/Cara/Bluesky) challenge to present one of my characters as a boss fight. It was made all the way back in... June. Dang. I picked ĆsfrĆưr (Isfrid) because she's the strongest OC I haveā yes, stronger than Mikaela, Dahlia, and probably Wynona, Hanami, and Reina (there are more of them, but they're not fighters). This is thanks to her kindred. Valkaans are very resistant to physical and weapon attacks. They can withstand deep slashes and even stabs. What kills them are: over-bleeding, d3captication, extreme heat (they live in snowy mountains, they can't handle the heat, except the Fire clan for obvious reasons), sliced in half and stabs at the skulls. They are quite brutal fighters and monster hunters for a reason. Valkaans have superhuman strength; sometimes I describe ĆsfrĆưr as being stronger than five men together. However, she is considered weak compared to other Valkaans. Imagine how mighty they can be. š All of them wield Rune Magicā which is more powerful than White and Black magic. Being from the Ice clan, she can summon ice magic. The runes she's summoning are Ćs, which means "Ice", and Hagalazā which means "Hail". The combination of those runes are often not a good sign for those on the opposite side. She can also use a bit of Earth magic because of her mother, but I never showcased that. Plus, she wields a seax.
In short, good luck with her. šš½
If the quality looks off it's because of the Nightshade. š I swear it looks better in real life. Also, I tried with the lighting. Maybe it's not that accurate, but at least I did a bit of practice.

Agh, I almost forgot to post this week. I'm still cookin' some art š (Aka. working on the projects. I tell you, they are long. But also among other things I have in store.) Here's an artwork of Dahlia. I haven't drawn this girl in a while, I honestly missed her. Likewise, it's been some time since I've done something... experimental? Like my works lately are either fully colored or not. So it felt nice to mix things up a bit.
Just like with Selene, it's fun to play fashion with Dahlia. I love drawing her in different e-girl/alternative/goth-like outfits. āØš¤
I know this looks and sounds silly, but thank you @junkkey and everyone who got me to 100 reblogs! ;-; I heavily appreciate it! ā¤ļøā¤ļø I know I barely post here, but no worries. I'll be back soon.
Reading the new checks that might come in due to the Online Safety Act in the UK and this is actually bullshit
[Image Transcript:
And how will I prove my age?
Thereās a number of methods a site or app might use to ask you to confirm your age. They might do this check themselves or use another company to do the check. These methods include:
Facial age estimationĀ ā you show your face via photo or video, and technology analyses it to estimate your age.Ā
Open bankingĀ ā you give permission for the age-check service to securely access information from your bank about whether you are over 18. The age-check service then confirms this with the site or app.
Digital identity services āĀ these include digital identity wallets, which can securely store and share information which proves your age in a digital format.
Credit card age checksĀ ā you provide your credit card details and a payment processor checks if the card is valid.Ā As you must be over 18 to obtain a credit card this shows you are over 18.
Email-based age estimationĀ ā you provide your email address, and technology analyses other online services where it has been used ā such as banking or utility providers - to estimate your age.Ā Ā
Mobile network operator age checksĀ ā you give your permission for an age-check service to confirm whether or not your mobile phone number has age filters applied to it. If there are no restrictions, this confirms you are over 18.Ā
Photo-ID matchingĀ ā this is similar to a check when you show a document. For example, you upload an image of a document that shows your face and age, and an image of yourself at the same time ā these are compared to confirm if the document is yours.

Not only is this such a fucking breach of privacy, but this is going to hurt adults in vulnerable and abusive situations. Some adults donāt have bank accounts or credit cards or even a fucking phone. Iām one of them. I could not give half of this information even if I wanted to. What the fuck is this. Fuck the UK government. This isnāt going to protect kids, this is just going to hurt adults, and I know full well when they say āsites that allow pornographyā theyāre going to be going after sites that have huge amounts of queer content, like tumblr and Ao3. Queer kids are gonna lose their fucking communities because of this shit. Abuse victims are going to lose online support systems because of this.
Iām genuinely fucked off about this, and worried about whether Iām going to lose every single one of my online friends. Anyone in the UK, please email your MP and sign this petition. It needs to reach 100k signatures to pass through Parliament.
Iām only hoping the backlash will be big enough for them to stop implementing these measures.
We want the Government to repeal the Online Safety act.
Anything we Yankees can do to voice our displeasure at this? This absolutely is violating and it's creepy. It absolutely will be used as a test run for implementing something similar here if it doesn't get loud pushback, and even before it does, we all share the same Internet, so it will, in some way, affect us even across the pond.
As far as I know, the best thing non-UK people can do is simply share the petition around, because itās not possible for anyone outside of the UK to sign it (otherwise the petition can be deemed invalid). But definitely keep your eyes on American laws, because itās likely theyāll attempt to implement them there too. The UK itself is basically copying what Australia has been trying to do with their under-16s ban.
If you're in the UK, please sign the petition and start calling and emailng explaining that you don't support fascist laws in your country. Because this is fascism. It's tracking and keeping lists of what people do on the internet so that vaguely written laws can be interpreted to punish people for not being the right sort of people.
If you're not in the UK, please reblog and share anywhere you can.

Alright, back to our semi-regular posting! Here is an artwork of Hanami that I drew on June, and finished coloring during my vacations this month. I always draw her with the same stoic expression. Though it is her personality, it can get a little too repetitive to make the same face. So I thought of giving her a slightly different look.
(Do you think she's bothered by the bubbles?)
I also played with colors in this piece. I liked coloring this to be honest, it was satisfying to do.

Hello again, back with a little bit of OC lore~ This is actually Hanami's mother, Reina; how she looks in the present day. I wrote down her history at last so you can get to know her a little more. Or well, serve as a reminder too. You know how it is with me, it's going to be a long read. So sit back, relax, and enjoy. š ā
"Many would have wished to decipher who Reina was before she became notorious. Prior to her fall from grace. Even in her glory days, she would not disclose her upbringing. Her recruitment was unpredictable. She entered during the early years of the organization that would later be dubbed as the League. However, she was not a part of the Hero program; she possessed a license and lived her life as an ordinary denizen. Yet, she proved herself to be competent for the group when she stopped a supervillain on her own. Gifted with super strength and heightened velocity, the League had decided that her talent could not go to waste. She was accepted and called Lady Red due to her rich, cherry lips.
She was among the first heroines that did not conceal her appearance with masks or heavy cosmetics. Because she made her presence known to others on her sudden feat, she worried not whether villains knew her or disremembered her. Nevertheless, Reina was a face that they would eventually grow to resent or fear. In a short span, her accomplishments flourished. Throughout the years, she manifested her humanitarianism and her dedication to fight for the greater good. She was beloved by the people. She was recognized internationally as well, for she performed hero work both in the USA and Japan on a special permit.
Yet, a series of murders began to arise. There was a higher death toll throughout Reina's service than normal. Victims were turning up hacked or stabbed to death throughout the city and Japan. By then, they were attributed to villains. But when questioned, they denied any links to these kinds of homicides. Some had even turned up dead. A serial killer was in the midst. As the years passed, she became less and less open with her companions with life outside the League. When pressed, she would retort. In the beginning, she excused her behavior. But subsequently, she seldom issued apologies. Alarm stemmed as the death toll increased by the 6th year of her duty. By then, she had grown increasingly erratic and standoffish with her comrades. Suspicions bloomed. Eventually, the League became involved in the murders.
With the help of the police and investigators, they managed to track down the serial killer. They turned out to be a female that wore a Noh mask, and a katana equipped. A chase ensued; she was highly swift. In time she was cornered and gunned down. Unbelievably, she was alive. Still, the mask slipped. To their horror, their target was none other than Reina. The sword she carried was eerie, as if it possessed a life of its own. When confronted, she claimed to have done the crimes to do good. All of her heroics were a farce; for every life she saved, she took one to function the way she had. Nonetheless, she had yet to reveal her true power to them. In an impressive yet painful display, she transformed into a serpentine monster. A gruesome battle ensued between her and the League. Some members have been killed; the strife seemed to be going at her favor. Howbeit, Reina suddenly lost her strength and transformed back into a humanā where she was finally detained.
She was brought for questioning. The truth turned out to be darker and more shocking than they expected. Reina was born without a gift. She earned them a year before she joined the League, through a sword with an undisclosed past. Something that had transformed her life "for the better". But, in order to keep her abilities, she had to "feed" it with blood. Prayers did not work, harming herself was not sufficient. Therefore, she required victims. But after every few months, it craved for more. In addition, the true sword was not in her hold anymore. She began to use its twin for the first time because she grew desperate. The original sword had selected its new owner. Her daughter: Hanami. That was when they learned she had next-of-kin after all. She was about to reach middle school and enter the Hero program. A deal was struck by then: they would keep her child in the courses and in secrecy in exchange for her imprisonment. However, they would not guarantee her daughter's success and a trial that could spare her life.
Reina faced charges against first-degree murder in the US and Japan. The total kill count was about fifty victims. Some presumed it was higher. Both had imposed the death penalty on her. She became the first hero to have ever been incarcerated for a major crime. The first to break the golden rule. The first to betray the people she had meant to protect. Because of her felonies, laws had to be regulated and transformed. The licenses were enforced. Enrollment to the Hero program was stricter and exclusive. The League's managed to survive its badge of infamy and move on. Bringing forth a newer generation of Heroes that were vetted.
Currently, Reina was incarcerated below the facilities of the organization. A prison fashioned just for her. Awaiting her fate. She suffered a severe withdrawal due to the blade's lack of influence on her. Her rationality also deteriorated with timeā becoming nothing more than a shell of the former heroine."
And there we go! I would like to add that she's been imprisoned forā ironicallyā six years as of today. Same amount as her service in the League. She lost considerable weight in prison. Her emblematic red lips remained as the only hint of beauty she has. Thank you for reading this far, here's a cookie! šŖ
