deleted scene from Criminal Minds (03x03)

i love that in the second ep Viktor says to Jayce,

“You think it was my life’s ambition to be an assistant?”

thinking that maybe this is his chance to shine, and show the world what kind of change they can make together, as partners.

when he was younger, he was an assistant to the doctor, Singed.

then in his late teens and early twenties, he assisted Heimerdinger, the Dean of the academy.

and then when he’s older, and literally on his death bed, he still ends up being cast aside as Jayce’s assistant.

Jayce tries to invite him on stage and show him off, but Viktor refuses, staying behind the curtain. Then Jayce becomes a council member, and leading the direction Hextech is going without consulting his “partner”.

one of my favourite things about arcane is that everything that Viktor was trying to accomplish with the Hexcore was all for nothing.

He was using himself as a guineapig when testing out how the Hexcore worked. He touched it, and realised that maybe if he kept working with it that it’d help him cure his illness.

but, then including shimmer and basically melding his metal leg brace thing with his actual muscles, he was able to finally walk unassisted for the first time and even FUCKING RUN without falling. by using the hexcore he felt stronger, he felt better.

but, then when trying to help himself out more, he went a little too far. engraving the symbols into his skin without using shimmer to aid the transformation. in so doing, the Hexcore killed Sky Young in the process.

after completely altering his body with the melded metal and muscle, killing Sky, AND messing up his hand, in the very end he seemed worse than he had started.

he becomes so depressed he nearly kills himself, he can hardly stand, and he’s even more ill than what had started out, he can hardly hold his head up without resting it on his cane. his whole purpose with the Hexcore was to make things better for himself and potentially others in the future, but he just ended up accidentally taking it too far and costing Sky’s life and his own.

and then Jinx fricken shoots a bomb into the room so who knows what happens after that 😭

this is the face that Jayce makes after Mel distracts the guard from capturing them while they’re trying to break into Heimerdinger’s lab.

Jayce is all like “omg wow i love her so much” and then VIKTOR!

drew myself as an Arcane character! i thought i resembled Jinx the most so i used her as a reference, it’s not perfect but i like it :)

but if i had died i’m glad that the last photo on my camera roll was a picture of Viktor from Arcane

He’ll be worried or low-key freaking out about something, and a member the team will say something like,

“Often people don’t profile that way, you know that,”

A lot of the time it’s Morgan, Hotch, Rossi, or Gideon that say it

That’s just an example, but it’s said often to him starting around season 2ish and so on, a lot in season 3&4. Example, s3 “Elephants Memory” or s4 “Memoriam”.
