It's been forever! I'm so happy to post art again! This one I'm really proud of and the one I was having the most fun with! It's my gurl Violet! It's been forever since I drew my queen and like since I have been revisiting her family, they are all in need of a redesign, so Vi here is getting a makeover. I promise I will make that happen! (The same for her family as well, I have notes lol) But not only that, but I had watched the horror film "Obsession" (Great movie but like be prepared, a lot of crazy scenes.) And it got me thinking about the lore for my SketchQuest AU, since its crossovers a lot of things that I enjoy in fandoms.

I always wondered about how my Ocs would handle wishmaking items/wishmakers/wishgranters. Welll, the film basically answered that question, they would not trust anything that can grant wishes.

Like I can see Hunter and his team refusing to use something like that. He doesn't trust a wishgranter to be honest with him and he's not the kind of guy to wish for something in seconds, he wants to get it himself.

Hydra is a paranoid mess so he wouldn't want to make a wish, same goes for his wife Sorrow but not as paranoid as him. But she doesn't want something that comes with a price. She can get that for herself like Hunter. BloodFang, yeah he wouldn't wish for anything...at least... not yet...but that depends on what happens in his life to actually think about using it...

It's just interesting when thinking about this, as they would definitely not trust Genies or not use the item and sell it away. Buuuut, there is a certain few that love these things and love seeing how it plays out. Enter Violet!

She's a witch that would offer a wish item to the person and then observing from a far to see what they would do. She doesn't make a wish for herself, nah, it's more fun seeing a poor soul wish for something, bad or good. After all, she's the daughter of a scientist soooo she's just making notes on what she sees in her experiments.

Also witches are with nature in this AU, so I think it's fitting that Vi would love to hold an item made from a branch of a willow tree. I can also see her teasing her family and her dad not wanting her to make a wish or being friends with a genie. But can't stop her lol So yeah, the film was great eye opener for me when it comes to wish items, relationships and ooo the twists of why rules exist when it comes to making a wish. I just love exploring things like that. I hope you like the drawing and my rambles, drawing the box of the one wish willow from the movie with a fun challenge and fitting for my lovely witch gurl! I swear I'm making a ref of her redesign! I love the outfit I gave her! X3 Check out the movie but please know there are a lot of crazy scenes in it. Be prepared! I can't wait to post to more soon!
