In response to the finding of “Earth 2.0″, another planet in the Goldilocks zone besides Earth, this is my favorite response: let’s invade it!
The Goldilocks zone lists planets that are in the habitable zone, being the “just right” distance from their sun. Should a planet be in this zone, they also house the possibility of harboring the fundamental building blocks of organic life.
Kepler-452b and its star are a bit older than our own Earth, giving an interesting look at how a planet of Earth’s comparable attributes evolves over time.
