I really like worldbuilding and I also really like the concept of ABO, but I can't for the life of me write smut or romance, so uhm. If you can write that, here are some free worldbuilding ideas I guess:
We both know sexisms is VERY present in our society, but imagine how horrible it is for Omegas... 😬
- I feel like Omegas would be extremely suppressed by society. Like, a lot. They'd be expected to take the role of "housewife"
- There have probably been a bunch of Omega Revolutions for equality. And while there are whole books about how omegas help society, sexism is still very active.
- They're raped very often. Sad but obvious. Luckily, over the years, rape against omegas has been getting more and more attention. Rapists are finally being sent to jail.
- A long long time ago, this would've been a dream, a mere fantasy for an omega. They were probably seen as breeding machines.
- Breeder. That would be the slur for omegas.
- extention of previous: Feral. A slur for omegas who dont fit the standards.
Have you heard about toxic masculinity? Yeah? Well then I don't need to explain much.
- Alphas are seen as the superiors of society. They have a bunch of benifits. Like, being an alpha gives you higher chances of getting a job or getting into a good college.
- Even so, there are still a bunch of problems for them. Like how they're expected to be high and mighty. I have a feeling soft alphas would be shunned by society. Being a stay at home alpha? Yikes. Don't even think about it.
- Like men irl, alpha rape victims were probably ignored, and not taken seriously. Especially if the perpetrator was an omega.
- emotional regulation for alphas is nonexistent. They were encouraged to fight to assert dominance.
Being a beta would seem like a dream come true at first, until you realize that you have even stricter rules to abide. A mould, so to speak.
-Betas HAVE to be with betas, otherwise you'd be judged. And if you were a beta with an alpha or omega, you'd always be thinking, "wouldn't they rather be with an alpha/omega instead?"
- You'd always be worried about whether you're good enough for your partner.

- The first time an Omega president took charge, it was a moment in history. Every class would talk about it, and every omega is glad that an omega took charge. It took countless years, of studying, of persuading, of working their way up to the top, but the omegan president did it. Ever since then, Omegas were slowly being un-erased from history.
- Old people are like old people irl. Some of them are thankful for the new rules, others ramble about how back in their day, omegas were just shot to the ground the moment they disobeyed or some fucked up shit like that.
- some schools are mixed, holding Alphas, Betas, and Omegas, but some schools are for one specific secondary gender. Like, and Omegan only school, or a private school specifically for Alphas, or a school with only Betas to avoid problems with heats and ruts.
- there is a special day(or month) in the year that focuses on omegas. Like, National Omegan's Month or Omegan's Rights Day or something. It's the same day the first Omegan president took charge.
- there are special centers for the omegas(and betas) that were raped/abused. Alphas are usually banned from spots like these, as they are often the cause of the trauma.
- there are probably podcasts out there that focus mainly on "dominance" in alphas and talk about "submission" in omegas. They make fun if rape victims(regardless of 2nd gender). There are people who also unironically watch this.
- connected to that, there are podcasts out there specifically for insulting Alphas and making fun of alpha rape victims. Saying shit like, "an alpha can't be weak. They probably wanted it" and calling them a horndog, since alphas are viewed as violent.
- history of Omegas have been erased or rewritten. Early history books have only recently been updated to include omegan history.
- long, and I mean LOOOOONGGG history of: forced marriages, incestuous bonds, forced bonds, etc. That were SEEN AS NORMAL.
- alphas in caretaker roles were erased/rewritten.
- some powerful betas in history have been rewritten to be alphas.
- something similar to the salem witch trials, except the traits of a "witch" also included late heats/ruts, predicting one's heat/rut, dominance(for omegas), submission(for alphas), and being a late bloomer.
- there are countries out there that still abide by disgusting rules. Just. Like. Earth.
- illegal medical care. Heat suppressing pills, scent blockers, etc.
- abortion is extremely discouraged, regardless of whether or not it's legal.
