Have you ever considered how much gender dysphoria and envy there would exist if we were in an A/B/O universe?? Because I would feel totally out of place with a dick I think. And there would just be. So many people not able to connect with that. But at the same time, do you think it doesn’t matter and genitals don’t make a gender there?? About how being naturally designated as submissive or dominant, and then also feminine and masculine at birth could mess you up. So. Freaking. Badly?? Holy shit dudes…
How betas could be envied and isolated in equal measures because they don’t have an extra genders and can’t smell as well. How they’re free to be dominant or submissive, but are frequently thought of as neutral, and that being a gender expectation coming with betas in-and-of itself. How they’re technically free to marry whomever, but are side-eyed if they don’t marry a fellow beta. How they would have no expectation, and simultaneously all the expectations in the world, simply based of their gender, and “lack” of a second gender, when in truth, they do have one, they are betas. They can still smell people, love people, and desire people. They have emotions, but can often be expected to be neutral robots and doctors, simply because they are not viewed as being as “emotional” or “instinctual” as alphas and omegas, and how that could lead to them having emotional outbursts, or shouting, or simply crying, having an emotion, which would easily be shrugged off were it an alpha or omega, but the second it’s them, they are “overreacting” and “need to learn their place”, and “we already deal enough of this with the kids who actually have issues with their emotions, we don’t need it from you too” and how some of them simply must hate the other secondary genders with a passion, how that can lead to even more isolation, the fact that some omegas and alphas would probably prefer not to be thought of as emotional, but can never escape the designation, and now when they are being excused about crying because of it simply because of their designation, they feel more and more gender envy towards betas, and those betas just…hate them as well, for no reason, and they will not explain at all, and you just hate them so much for having everything you ever wanted, yet taking if for granted…
