“Not a bee, love. Just a dejected man being morose about things.”

“I am not going crazy, but thanks Callista.”

“Can’t help it when you’ve got a reminder of it that makes way too much sound on wood floors.”

“I know, but you have to try a little harder.”

“But how? I’m impatient, I want it now.”

“…I may look shocked…But I’m faking. What are you talking about?”

“Nothing you need to stress your little head over, Cameron. Nothing to stress over.”

“No, I’m not talking about herpes. Really, why would you even think that, mate?”

“Survived that little town hall mess I see, Max. A pint doesn’t sound half bad; suppose I’ll have myself a few of those as well.”

“I’m not sure what you’re calling little, but yeah. All alive and everything that goes with it. Go right ahead, I could do with a companion too.”

“Can’t help you, buddy. Would if I could but I can’t so I shan’t.”

“I...thanks anyway for trying.”

     “Do you really want to make it go away?”

“I don’t know. I want to be able to walk again without this bloody stick..”

“Make what go away?”

“Nothing, I was just..just musing.”

“Its amazing what a tragedy can do for sales. How about we drink this and liven this place up.”

“A pint sounds about right, for me at least.”

“You’re right, but even rebuilding isn’t going to be easy. What with so much of the community still in mourning… Indeed, we have to deal with the cards we were dealt.“

“Then what do you suppose we do Max? I mean where do we even begin, because it doesn’t sound like many people have the faintest idea?“

“We start by rebuilding ourselves. If we let the grief eat away at our hearts, we will never find the courage to fight back. Hell, even I don’t know where to begin, Eleanor. I hate this situation, but there’s not much we can do now, can we?”
