blue lock is the worst and best piece of media in the whole world. it’s intrinsically gay. everyone probably has second-hand high from the amount of axe body spray in the building. human experimentation is canon. no one’s parents read the waiver. professional athletes are pitting high schoolers against each other for their own entertainment. they are getting paid to do that. there is poignant symbolism regarding class struggle and freedom. a main character yells right in the womb as he scores. friendship and teamwork is banned. a real life, adult man has a wall of cameras to watch teenage drama unfold. the guys with crippling mental health conditions run the place like wardens. they aren’t allowed to use their phones. they are live streamed for profit. there are at least two instances of canon-typical pet play. it’s awesome, no one is doing it like them, and no one ever will.

it really hurts me to see so many gazans asking us for help, though that's through no fault of their own. they've been forced to use a social media site that they're probably not familiar with (because tumblr has kind of faded out of popular consciousness), to interact with us in a second language, to distinguish themselves from the scammers who are taking advantage of genocide, and to ask strangers for help. i don't think there are any cultures where it's easy to ask for help like this, but i'm intimately familiar with how humiliating it can be in arab culture. please be kind, gracious and helpful to the gazans in your inbox. this is a desperate time for them, and in addition to the physical danger inflicted by "israel", the prices of basic resources in gaza are extremely high due to scarcity, and those that manage to escape to egypt are financially exploited by landlords there and have an extremely difficult time finding work due to their unofficial status as refugees. these families will continue to need our help and i hope we can all continue to provide it to the best of our ability.

well! i think kaiser depersonalized ness and used him as a coping tool, that's why he is utterly comfortable in physical aggression towards ness. kaiser still operates from a survival mode, that's why he's unable to recognize love (dare i say it's an obsession bordering on the 'favourite person' concept for ness) and is obsessed with crushing people he feels are superior/ more powerful than him (untouchable/ unavailable people) and it all ties down to his father. he's getting revenge on his father, on the injustice and abuse from him, at a global level. this process is so exacerbated by his fishing for approval and idolization caused by his absent mother, which was a star. me thinks.
