I realize it's a relatively small circle but I'm pretty sure nobody I care about had their team make it to the final or even close. So.

#I was rooting for DRC/RDC but they lost to England :(. fun fact about England it sucks #I'd be open to playing football/soccer though. I'm good at sports. actually the reason it's called soccer in the US #is that football was divided into soccer and rugby. but I guess due to semantic drift the not rugby football became just football #and American soccer football then must have developed its own branch of rugby-like football and then kept soccer to distinguish them #in goal sports meaning soccer hockey ultimate frisbee American football lacrosse probably others #my strategy was always hang out near the goal even if no one is there. cause I can catch it that far and not necessarily outsmart #but I can very much always overpower the goalie #soccer absolutely not cause I haven't played in 20 years. but we could work our way up maybe

Omg I looked up "Colin Robinson hitting a bee hive with a baseball bat on The Office" and I found the clip and maybe this show actually was too racist to air today????

#Dwight goes up to a bunch of guys who are apparently Latino. and says hola necesito un bueno worker. tu es fuerte. que?#and one of them is a kid who's like 9. I never got into this show but no part of this is funny. this is getting worse by the second #so he picked up Colin Robinson instead. like this isn't funny what. I feel vindicated that humor back then was bad #it wasn't that I just started enjoying comedy out of nowhere in 2016

#it's been said but if I owned formal clothing and were so inclined I could cosplay him very easily #one time when I was very drunk I saw a clip of him on youtube of him whacking a bees nest with a bat for Michael Scott #needless to say I am extremely phobic of bees and every second was physically painful even though my eyes were mostly closed #I should watch that again just to make sure I have extra nightmares

I was playing Darktide on the steam deck and realized that this was what a handheld game can be now compared to the first one I played, Pokémon Blue, and I felt incredibly sad to have lived long enough to see something new and exciting become ancient and wished I’d either been born sooner or had died any number of years ago

In book class we talked about patina, the visible wear and tear on an object, and the professor certainly viewed it as beautiful as did many classmates and supplemental texts, but looking at it makes me feel like a giant shark bit into and ripped out 2/3 of my torso on the heart side

#I long suspected that's why I don't like writing on my books but it's not. it's bc my handwriting is so horrible and my lines so uneven #that underlying anything makes it so hard to read the book. and adding stuff in the margins does too and I can't read what I wrote at all #it's like if someone scribbled all over your book at random all over the text itself #so actually I don't avoid it for any stupid moral reason or sanctity of written word #I avoid it because if I do that I can't read it anymore :( and I need to be able to to write a paper #that's why I started a long time ago taking the notes in a notebook instead of on the book itself. that's where annotations go

Never mentioned this but why is every job I get on indeed for ABA therapist...like no I don't want a job abusing autistic children

#a job helping them is another story but that hasn't crossed my indeed dash #I still want the job of school counselor/teacher who works with any kids with behavioral problems and connects them to extra resources #but I can't remember what the letters are so I can find out about the certification
