i just thought what if the netherlands’ logo/branding for next year’s contest was inspired by van gogh’s painting style and now i absolutely want that to happen, @ AVROTROS pls do this it would look so cool

right, this is not me trying to make anyone who likes the song feel bad (and my sincere apologies if i do), this is more just to vent than anything, but i just do not get the appeal of arcade. like at all. i cannot fathom why it’s the favourite to win at the moment. it’s most likely because it’s a genre of music that i’m out of touch on more than anything, but even so, i just don’t understand what’s so special about it? if you’d showed me that song without the context that it’s a eurovision song i’d be like “oh, okay,” and the fact that i’m like that now while knowing that it’s a eurovision song is so bad! i’ll probably be into it by may, but for now i just don’t get it. sorry.
