Wuuuuw it's that time of the year again! T minus 7 days till #Straya! 😄 Super excited to meet my favourite foodies and online gaming friends again. And you know what else I'm excited for? THE FOOD! The last living Sahabi (friend) of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. This tree shaded Rasulullah S.A.W. when he was a young boy around 580+ AD. It is the ONLY tree alive within a hundred square kilometres in this inhospitable desert in the North of Jordan. A Christain monk, named Bahira, met a young Prophet Muhammad S.A.W who was resting under this tree, on his way to Syam with his uncle Abu Talib. Bahira noticed this young boy was being shaded by clouds wherever he went. After meeting him and noticing the signs, Bahira foretold the Prophethood of Nabi Muhammad S.A.W. He then told Abu Talib to go back to Makkah with the boy as the Yahudis were searching for him to harm.
