Combining Prayers During Travel
And it is reported from Mālik on the authority of Abū ʿl-Ṭufayl with the wording: “That they went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the year of Tabūk, ورواه مالك (1/143 / 2) من طريق أخرى عن أبي الطفيل به بلفظ: " أنهم خرجوا مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عام تبوك، and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would join al-Dhuhr wa ʿl-ʿAṣr, and al-Maġrib wa ʿl-ʿIshāʾ.” فكان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يجمع بين الظهر والعصر، والمغرب والعشاء، (Muʿāḏ) said: “He delayed the ṣalāh, then went out and prayed al-Dhuhr and al-ʿAṣr together, then returned. Then he went out again and prayed al-Maġrib wa ʿl-ʿIshāʾ together.” قال: فأخر الصلاة يوما، ثم خرج فصلى الظهر والعصر جميعا، ثم دخل، ثم خرج فصلى المغرب والعشاء جميعا ". وَأَصْبِرْ نَفْسَكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُم بِالْغَدَوَةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُ وَلَا تَعْدُ عَيْنَاكَ عَنْهُمْ تُرِيدُ زِينَةَ الْحَيَوَةِ الدُّنْيَا وَلَا تُطِعْ مَنْ أَغْفَلْنَا قَلْبَهُ، عَن ذِكْرِنَا وَاتَّبَعَ هَوَلَهُ وَكَانَ أَمْرُهُ، فُرُطًا
"Dan bersabarlah kamu bersama-sama dengan orang-orang yang menyeru Tuhannya di pagi dan senja hari dengan mengharap keridhaan- Nya; dan janganlah kedua matamu berpaling dari mereka (karena) mengharapkan perhiasan dunia ini; dan janganlah kamu mengikuti orang yang hatinya telah Kami lalaikan dari mengingati Kami, serta menuruti hawa nafsunya dan adalah keadaannya itu melewati batas." (QS. Al-Kahfi : 28)
