How Many People Live Inside Of You? |Â The Moon and Your Soul
âžâ˘
Hi Pocklings!Â
Todayâs chit-chat is about *commence drumroll*...The Moon! Sheâs beauty, sheâs grace, sheâll put you in your place! âşâ(ďźžâďźž)ââş
Waitâthatâs not how the saying goes, is it? Ah well, my point still stands. The Moon is a force to be reckoned with.
In the Pock 1 | Phase 1: Spotted of Moonpocks (audio drama for those unaware), we come to meet our pious protagonist Hyacinth and The Order of Behl, an ancient astral cult devoted to The Moon. Their duty is to protect and maintain the balance between earth and the dreamworld.
Now, you're probably wondering: What could possibly be going on in the dreamworld that would require watchful guardians? Letâs start with the basics by exploring one of the oldest throuples known to man: The Moon, the night, and the mortal mind.
In the occult, the Moon is said to govern the soul, emotions, intuition, cycles, feminine energy, and the subconscious mind. The planet corresponds with the element water and the metal silver, both of which are intimately linked to the subconscious, positioning them each as a mirror to the soul.Â
Chances are youâve already seen many of these lunar correspondences play out in real-life. A popular example would be the cyclical nature of (cis) women. Think of the menstrual cycle, PMS, pregnancy, and all the physiological changes the average woman undergoes in everyday life. In previous decades, the handling of women's health and psychology werenât as progressive. Their grievances were commonly filtered through comedy and disdain, resulting in a collective dismissal of female pain, framing it as attention-seeking hysterics.
Can you guess what Miss Mama Moon also represents? You got it. Lunacy!
Itâs Not A Phase, Mom! Or, Is it?
Does this mean there isnât any rhyme or reason to the way people are? Quite the contrary.
You remember the bit about water, donât you? The moonâs connection to the tides should not be understated. Its gravitational pull is what causes the oceanâs tides to form in the first place. It is the element of life, making up most of the human body and Earthâs surfaces. You can see how that might have an effect on us! Numerous layers lie beneath the ocean tides, enriched with vibrant wonders and vastly undiscovered, much like the unconscious mind.Â
Notable archetypes such as The Witch, The Werewolf, and The Vampire illustrate this psycho-spiritual phenomenon. All three figures share a deep affiliation with the moon in their respective lores. They are frequently used to showcase the emergence of a shadow self that is suppressed beneath their veneer of ânormalcyâ or what society deems in line with moral order. The moon sets in the night sky, acting as a catalyst to transformation and acting as the backdrop to where their instinctual selves can no longer hide.
There is much to explore as to why these archetypes take place at night under the moonâs watchful gaze. What kinds of people take refuge in the shadows? Deplorables seeking to unleash the deep-seated sewage lurking in their unconscious onto humanity without consequence? Or, does The Night act as a safe haven for the unconventional and misunderstood to gather without judgment and persecution?Â
Whether weâd like to admit it or not, there is an element of both that exist within us all. The light cannot exist without the dark and vice-versa. It is the nature of duality. So, what questions does that bring forth about human nature?Â
What does it say about you?
It is this fragile balance our beloved priestesses, The Behlumene, have been tending to for centuries in the world of Moonpocks. After all, where would we be without dreams? It is the vessel of faith and imagination, allowing us to work out the kinks of life without restraint.
Unfortunately, my dear readers, we have reached the end of the road. Let me know in the comments if you enjoyed this sliver of Faylore! Be sure to follow my page to catch future mystical musings.
Todayâs chit-chat is about *commence drumroll*...The Moonstone! The moonstone is featured in Pock 1.2: âEmpty Vesselsâ where the priestesses discuss their plan to defeat The Darkening. Â
The Moonstone is a prismatic crystal formed from mineral feldspar. Although itâs most known for its ivory adularescence, the moonstone comes in a variety of colors, such as rainbow, blue, silver, and grey. Additionally, the stone is associated with the element Water, the planet Moon (shocking), and the astrological sign Cancer.
Another popular name for the Moonstone is âThe Travelerâs Stoneâ, referring to the superstitious belief of the stoneâs protective power. Travelers at night and sea were advised to carry the stone to ward off negative energies, including mental afflictions such as nightmares and insomnia, and help them reach their destinations safely. Â
Other uses of the Moonstone include intuition, emotional healing, enhancing psychic abilities, getting in-touch with your feminine energy (that includes you too, fellas!), spiritual protection, and of course, connecting with Miss Mama Moon.
In âEmpty Vesselsâ, The Behlumene plan to use the Moonstone as a vessel to harbor and alchemize The Darkening. Their use of the stone would fall under spiritual protection and lunar divination.Â
Fortunately, since most of you donât have an earth-swallowing storm of darkness approaching your homes, you can skip all that. If you're interested anyway, try placing a moonstone under your pillow for sweeter dreams!
As always, donât hesitate to keep the conversation going in the replies below, dream team. Logging out. Â

How My Fear of Loneliness Became A Self-Fulfilling Prophecy
Years ago, I wouldâve been the last person to say this, but I actually find myself enjoying solitude and other meditative practices. Being alone has been healing to me in more ways than one. Perhaps, too âhealingâ because I mightâve found myself in a ditch that I donât want to get out of.
Has solitude saved me or swallowed me?
You tell me.
5 Fantasy Tropes We Need To Shelve (Sincerely, An Occultist)
Practicing the occult and studying the occult are two separate things, both of which Iâve made quite the eventful life out of. Now reading and watching fantasy as you gradually shift from a regular outsider to the practitioners depicted on screen?
Thatâs a whole ânother rodeo!
Watch me weave through five fantasy tropes that personally feel more vexing than magical. And if anyone cares, no wands were waved during the making of this videoânot if you count the one I used to make this post. Hey, itâs better than AI.
Hey folks, I'm back with this week's video! And currently working hard to make sure Moonpocks: Phase 1, Pock 2 comes to you soon.
If you're interested in seeing more fantasy / occult content from me, give this a watch and let me know what you think!
Hi Pocklings! Miss me? Good, keep those ears perked because Pock 1, Phase 1: Moth To A Flame is officially here! Lay back, relax, and catch wind of the shamanic order fighting to keep humanity intact.
Created by Native Fay, Moonpocks is an immersive, single-narrator fantasy adventure audio drama. Series Synopsis: When a calamitous prophecy

I get it. Reputation is everything. The backlash of social media can be brutal. But, do we all need to pretend our own sh*t doesn't stink? I donât know about you, but Iâd like to see something a little more humanâa little more real. And oftentimes, that âsomething humanâ is straight-up cringe.
Watch my new video on dealing with cringe because deep down, no matter how old we get, we all care a tiny bit. Itâs only a question of how much youâre willing to let people get to you.Â

No one said being creative came without its challenges. And a mountain of credit card debt, but thatâs neither here nor there.
In this video, I discuss the bumpy rollercoaster ride that is my Audio Drama Journey. As a certified penny-pinching noob (are we still saying noob in 2026?), learning how to be my own playwriter-audio engineer-social media marketer came with loads of obstacles.
All which stemmed from a mind-numbing obsession with being âUglyââŚas in capital U, yes.
Hey guys! Check out my newest video and let me know what you think!

I know itâs been a long while since my last post. I sincerely apologize for my hiatus and appreciate those of you whoâve stood by.
I have a couple updates concerning Native Fay and my audio drama. I didnât want you all to think that I had completely abandoned the project because that is far from the truth. Iâm still extremely passionate about Moonpocks. Itâs a story I hold close to my heart.Â
In all honesty, I realized I bit off a bit more than I could chew and wanted to adjust my content accordingly. I am working solo and can't afford any assistance, so producing a single chapter or video of any kind can be time-intensive, especially with the wrenches life throws in. I figured it was better to recognize my shortcomings before I got in too deep and betray people's expectations.
So far, I have uploaded a revision of Pock 0. Pock 1 is coming very soon. I strongly recommend a re-listen if you want to grasp the full context of the drama. While much of the story remains intact, many of the details and interactions have been altered to enrich the narrative.
On a final note, I do have a few Youtube videos queued up, one of which covers my personal journey with audio drama. Many of my upcoming videos will be inspired by Moonpocks and its occult foundations, so please check them out!
I do hope you enjoy this revival of Native Fay. Once again, thank you for your patience and please stay tuned for more!
Pro tip from an audio drama lover: You can just change your settings on your phone/laptop to make everything come out mono if you want to.
--Sincerely someone who listens with one headphone in and recalls being thwarted by some stereo podcasts that would edit things to be more immersive but not in a way that works with one headphone.
