EMERALD GREEN CUT VELVET CAPE, 1870’s - 1880’s.
Velvet triangle having a deep floral border with cord and velvet trim having knotted fringe and quilted silk lining.
clever girl! so proud of her
Googled something about quick hydration and it suggested big jug of water, couple tbsp pickle juice, dash of lime juice.
Its surprisingly tasty????
Pleased to report that after a day of this i am not longer craving caper brine and my mouth is not dry as usual. There's some good suggestions in the notes too that I want to try.
-ancient roman posca: water, red or white wine vinegar, honey, salt, herbs (coriander, mint, thyme)
-switchel: water, ginger, vinegar, sweetener, lemon, salt
-ayran: yogurt, water, salt, mint
-Agua pepino: water, cucumbers, lime, sugar, optional mint.
I have been reminded of:
-shrub: vinegar, sida water, elderberry (or other berry), sugar.
I have now been informed of
-sekanjabin: honey, vinegar, mint, water.
"Wow, I wonder why this post was popular this week."
-sees the reports of the heatwave in Europe-
"... ah."

Just shittin' in the wind with this one, but with the first five numbered cards of the major arcana, I think I see them as follows:
The Magician: magical authority
The High Priestess: spiritual authority
The Empress: domestic or familial authority
The Emperor: political or professional authority
The Hierophant: religious authority
There are also the whole gender roles and its dynamics baked into each of the five cards that leads to this reading of each of them, but that's ultimately part of dealing with these cards. You can de-gender the titles, you can switch the order, you can give them different names entirely, but if you're still following the tarot order, they're still going to be the same cards.
Just a fun bit of extra analysis.
My notes on each card (oh that's another project I should get back into...) see them as:
The Magician: the ability to change one's life/environment/situation. Mostly with spells, but with whatever kind of mundane or magical authority one has.
The High Priestess: a librarian, or someone who brings you to information/learning/knowledge and allows you to look at it and figure it out for yourself without interpreting it for you.
The Empress: the wild/natural/chance parts of the world. Things that happen Just Because of a roll of the cosmic dice.
The Emperor: the tame/societal/constructed parts of the world. Things that are the way they are because we or society at large has made them to be that way.
The Hierophant: a priest/professor, or some other type of person who brings information to you and interprets it for you, for better or for worse.
