MY BIG THING THIS WEEK - Ed Sheeran ft Mikill Pane 

Video Featured - Little Lady

This song was bought to my attention because of its brutal lyrics and talent behind the ways in which the words are spat. Panes rapping isn't forceful like many rappers like out there, it's almost as if the words are placed in front of you and its up to you as to whether you lap them up. Lap them up I did indeed and the story it tells is harrowing yet very powerful. Sheeran is a fantastic mix to this, bringing the listener back down to earth after each powerful verse.

This is one of the most powerful story's behind a song that I have heard for a long time, which is why its my BIG THING this week. Want to hear something which will make you think and leave you dumbstruck? This ones for you.

MY BIG THING THIS WEEK - Clean Bandit

'Edgy as Fuck' is a good way to describe this track, That along with 'Mind Fuck'. Nevertheless I love it and can't quite stop listening to it. I am a sucker for things out of the ordinary (to a certain extent, lets not be silly now) and this is a belter. Warming up for a night out? Then aside from the intro I have a feeling this will get you in the mood! Happy Listening :)

MY BIG THIS THIS WEEK - Just Blaze x Baauer

So the genre 'Trap' is something I have to admit I had never heard of before. Incorporating elements of Hip-hop, House, Crunk, Dub and Hardstyle it's a genre not to be messed with. It was a show on Radio One late on a Friday evening which introduced me to the poisonous sound of Just Blaze and Baauer; consequently blowing my mind, and my speakers.

This track comes at you with the force of a fucking steam train, and features a drop which is guaranteed to leave you bopping away without even realising it. It's definitely a 'Get you pumped for a night out' tune, so I can't advise listening to it when you are trying to unwind.
