Honestly though why break up falice before a 7 year time jump? Am I supposed to believe that 7 years later they're not together when JB should be all grown up? Why not just have alice go with him and then idk come up with some reason FP isn't around. Wtf did Alice do in riverdale for 7 years? There's so many ways they could have went about this and they chose the most boring, typical riverdale one.

Honestly pisses me off! There was no reason for him to leave Alice. And I can’t believe FP would be cruel enough to leave Alice alone. Jughead and Betty were leaving. The twins were with the blossoms. And Polly still getting help.

We already know Alice doesn’t deal to well with isolation and loneliness, so it just seems cruel of FP to want to take off to live with his drug dealing Ex wife, and I don’t believe him to be that cruel.

Would of preferred to lose Alice full time, and just have her come back every now and then, than have that outcome in her life.
