exhibit 1: sans and toriel in chapter 4 playing rimshots and talking in faster and faster intervals makes a lot of people think they're fucking. and those people are right. they are fucking, metaphorically. he is good at pleasing her. she is good at pleasing him. they are losing themselves to fun and ecstasy with increasing rhythm and urgency and loudness. thats sex.

exhibit 2: the same idea applies to the big weird route scene in chapter 4, arguably more blatantly. noelle sees the awful future incoming and freezes, unable to stop it. the deed happens through a symbol of "love--" the ring. in the original patch, there was an animation of a rose withering, suggesting loss of innocence. again, it's not literal. there was no actual physical sex here (or rather rape in this case). no physical sex, but what would it mean that we've implanted a seed of our soul in noelle if not metaphorical sex?

exhibit 3: ok but like. if us inseminating noelle with a piece of the soul, invading her being and body in that way and taking away her agency is paralleling sexual violence, which it is, then like. carol is totally sexually abusing kris right? like metaphorically that's totally what's happening right? they're in cahoots with her and seem to have some plan, likely related to dess and saving her because they want her back. at the beginning we were going to inhabit a freshly made vessel courtesy of good ol' gaster, but then that was interrupted, and we found ourselves in kris instead. carol seems to know about us given how she says "YOU" are welcome anytime in all red, & her love of "heart-shaped objects/human souls." she definitely knows about us. we're definitely part of her plan. and if a child must give up their body and its inner, intimate workings to make it come true... so be it. even if kris came up with the idea, even if they did all the heavylifting and gory little details, she is still the adult manipulating them into doing it. what does it say, that kris is standing on the window, wanting to go after susie, and she pulls them back, that she reminds them, "you promised"? what does it say, if not that she's grooming and coercing them into giving up their body for her? what does it say, if not metaphorical sexual abuse?
