the 6th episode of widow's bay fucking sucked. they have noo fucking clue what a woman in the 1700s felt or thought about or what her values were or the unique problems they faced. they injected a modern woman into her instead. the like reverend isnt written consistently at all so you have no idea wtf he wants until the end where hes like noo stoop the prophecyyyy omgg i was like good the whole tiiiiime. they didnt get good sets for this old ages episode when the overarching theme of the episode is about the past haunting the present and they clearly truly didnt understand what it was like and its not like im even an expert. we didnt even need to see anything here that couldnt have been done in 2 seconds. what a useless, banal fucking episode. the writers should feel bad for making it. truly embarrassing
