Toby chuckled, nodding his head. âGood, good.â He had noticed the way Michaâs cheeks flushed, but he told himself it was just a trick of the light, nothing to really pay any mind to. âOh wow⌠Okay, yeah I guess you havenât really been to England, then. Neither have I, though. Iâve been outside of Monaco before, but never anywhere very far. Not as far as England, at least.â He couldnât imagine how Wonderland existed underneath England, but he figured that maybe there were just some things he didnât need to fully understand. They could just be. When Micha said that he had a favorite flower, Tobias followed and watched as the boy plucked out a white flower and moved to him. He smiled, letting Micha place the flower behind his ear, noticing the way he lingered. âItâs alright, thank you.â He reached up and touched the flower. âHow do I look?â
âNope. But, Iâd love to go one day. Where have you traveled?â Micha was a naturally curious person, but to know more about Tobias specifically, he found himself enjoying it more than he normally might like getting to know someone. Which, truthfully, usually stressed him out. He was thankful that Tobias hadnât already written him off as some sort of weirdo to never talk to again. âSort of beautiful...â he murmured in response, tipping his head to the side a bit as he admired the flower sitting behind his ear. A soft smile tugged at his lip, turning away to avoid staring. âThey have meanings, you know... flowers. Canterbury Bells represent gratitude and faith.â
