Steven universe MCFNAFVerse with Dylan and Bryan being gem/human hybrids
In this au Dylan would kinda be the steven of this world as it makes more sense for me to imagine him staying with Matthew
Whereas Bryan stays on home world cus after anna and matthew broke up she gets super bitter about it and sets out to completely colonise earth (plus she would just be a red diamond rather than pink) butting head with valarie (who would just be an altered yellow diamond) which sets off the gem war
For Bryan after his mom give birth to him and lowkey ceases to exist Amiri takes over looking after him with specific instruction set by Anna which makes Bryan a kind of antagonist in this au
I also imagine the gems that Dylan lives with on earth would just be some of his animatronics but as gems ya know
I dont got any more ideas past this so if soneone with better world building wants to take it go ahead
-dispite not being an artificer Bryan’s weapon and spell casting is funneled though technology. His primary weapon/staff is a vaugly shotgun looking thing. Because fireball.
-Iris plays the piano in the tavern when they don’t need all hands on deck, he dosent know how to read sheet music but given enough time he can learn songs baised on listening.
-Iris cannot play wind instruments his collection of instruments and skill set includes string(guitar violin) and percussion(drums) instruments
-Iris can shift into a larger form when needed but it comes at the cost of it being extremely fragile, brushing against him in that state can cause minor bruising let alone a full on strike.
-GCs core is defended by a collection of strings constantly playing a song he’s come to associate with iris, it’s a gentle sad thing with the twinkling of stars GC reports.
-if those strings are stoped or even slightly touched Iris will know.
-a lot of the tavern regulars bust to hear stories about the quests the party has gone on, Bryan’s a common favorite due to how animated he can be.
-Dylan’s considered the best waiter due to his jokes and how strait to the point they can be.
-Iris is responsible for keeping Pluto out of the bar and wine cellar. If he’s not allowed to drown his problems in wine neither are they.
-Ivy and Bryan are the only ones with keys to the achachol cabinet and wine cellar. Ivy because she’s the manager and Bryan because hes going to make sure no one can drown themselfs in achohol and can physically make sure of that. Also getting angry at him earns you an instant guilty conscience because he immediately looks like a drenched kitten the second he relizes your upset.
-GC can temporarily hold the achohol keys not because he’s untrustworthy but because he’s at risk for losing them when he has to drag someone out.
-Bryan Dylan Pluto Ivy and Sabrina don’t live in the tavern they have their own places. Pluto and Dylan live together Bryan lives in Vinny’s attic and basement and Sabrina and Ivy live on their own. Altho Bryan does frequently stay at Dylan’s.
-Jake is loved by the party and is basically treated as the nice neighbor kid who comes to play and might as well live there. It’s very common for one of the party to hand him a snack suddenly if he even slightly registers he’s a bit hungry.
-Iris has mom energy. Works well to get answers out of people and to help keep the party from doing something stupid. He’d use it more if he wasn’t sleep deprived.
-Bryan has candy’s in the bag he has on his leg, he’s primarily the one handing them to Jake.

-anytime Bryan or Dylan do a big stretch any member of the party immediately go: “oh! Big stretch”. Everyone does it at least once.
-GC has hair simply because he’d keep messing with irises. He has continued to mess with irises hair.
-the long braid Iris has in his default is a way to help dequse himself, he can wear a mask or helmet and some clothes but if he’s doing something with his tail or knocks something over with it he can blame it on his braid.
-Colin will appear.
-Bryan makes more car noises then Dylan altho when Dylan does their louder then Bryan, Bryan does little rurrs and merps while Dylan’s more prone to shrieking like a cat.
-if you couldn’t guess it yes the artifact Bryan possesses is this AUs version of a portal core.
-when the reality tearing that took out Bryan and Dylan’s home town cause is unknown, Bryan wasn’t responsible for it.
-if you want to multi class Bryan have him be an artificer it just makes sense.
-Bryan has been given fireball.
-when iris is exhausted or dropped to 0 hit points he’ll melt into a vaugly humanoid mass of darkness, theirs little white stars in there too. No it doesn’t effect his clothes he’s actually wearing those.
-Iris has changed descuses over the years all of them hide his actual appearance, the current one is attire from a little known sect of a common religion. Iris is unaware of this he just kinda saw it hid him and fit so he bought it.
-Jake is going to be bullied. Not by the party. But he will be bullied. I don’t make the rules.
-when there’s no big case going on the party works in the tavern as waiters and in GCs case security and emergency cook.
-GC will (gently) throw the party around if he has to. Hands are rated E for everyone.
-Iris struggles to see in the daylight if his pale eyes weren’t a massive tip off to that. His night vision is great tho, best of the party with Dylan then Bryan following in that ranking.
-Bryan can invlep his body in flame but it damages his eye sight and prevents him from breathing soo…
-Davis has no horses the cart is powered by magic.
-Bryan and Dylan can have zoomies, usually it’s during the day and when they’ve been cooped up for too long

This has been an idea in my head since the very beginning of this AU (I mean fuck, ask my partner, I told them about it before I even made art about it!)

This is Leaf's fault even if Leaf hasn't made a post about the coloration of the dragon slayers in a bit, it started me on this train of thought.
So the coloration of the dragon slayers. First let's go over canon colorations. And I am referring to their dragon slayer/dragon force forms.
Allumos (Celestial Dragon Slayer): Neon Fucking green (scales, wings, hair and irises)
Blake (Storm Dragon Slayer): Teal (scales and hair)
Bryan (Fire Dragon Slayer): Red (scales, horns, wings and irises) and cream (wing membrane and sclera)
• S4: Red (scales, and irises), Black (wing base) and golden yellow (wing membrane and sclera)
Colin (Shadow Dragon Slayer): Purple/Magenta (irises), and black (markings and wings)
• S4: navy blue/indigo (hair and iris), dark red (sclera) and black (markings and wings)
Davis (Lightning Dragon Slayer): Bright blue (lightning marks) and red (hair)
• Unconnected Fairy Tail MCRP: Dark blue (scales), bright blue (lightning marks) and red (hair)
Mario (Cavern Dragon Slayer): Brownish-Green (scales), and copper (eyes; dragon king mode)
• S4: Brown (scales), and green (horns)
Mori (Spirit Dragon Slayer): Unknown
Seek (Light Dragon Slayer): Unknown
Viper (Poison Dragon Slayer): Magenta/purple (Markings, hair and eyes), lighter magenta (right sclera) and black (base markings)
So as Leaf pointed out some of the colors -Allumos'- are dumb and some overlap a bit with the others Colin with Viper and I guess Davis and Blake but they have similar magic so the latter two get an excuse.
Now I'm going to suggest some alt colorations or just coloration in general since Mori and Seek don't have colors in canon. Bullet points will be possible alternative combos.
Mario (Cavern Dragon Slayer): Mostly the same coloration, but maybe more separate green and brown in the scales, and if he were to get horns, maybe a pale green, cream or copper color. I think the coppery eyes are cool, but hazel (mixed copper and green) could be fun too.
• Base scales brown with green hints especially near his back like moss growing on a stone, hazel eyes, and cream horns.
• Streaks of Brown and green in their hair would be fun too
Colin (Shadow dragon slayer): I like the more S4 style coloration of navy blue/indigo rather than purple/magenta. Maybe not the dark red sclera though, although it is unsettling if we want to go for that. If we do use the dark red then maybe some other tiny dark red details too. Also black markings are fun, although fading them with dark blue or purple could be nice.
• Black scales with accents of Navy blue/Indigo and dark red.
Bryan (Fire Dragon Slayer): Buddy you are too red, I'm stealing your monochromatic privileges. Adding back in the oranges and yellows and even black. Although not black for wings I'd imagine more for horns and claws. Yellow sclera are back, and maybe more of an orange/red fade for his irises. Red pupils cause idk why he loses his pupils in s5.
• Red, orange and yellow scales with black accents, black or dark red horns.
Davis: I like what he has going on with his FT MCRP counterpart. I do really like the dark blue scales. Adds differentiation between him and Blake.
• Dark blue scales that fade to the electric blue on the underside, electric blue marks
° Maybe hair can have streaks of either electric yellow or blue after the red fade?
Seek (Light Dragon Slayer): Whites and yellows seem like the obvious coloration choices for light magic. Even blue could work. If you're being very creative you could do iridescent cause prisms and stuff.
Mori (Spirit Dragon Slayer): Now Mori is also an open book for coloration since 'Spirit' doesn't have a distinct color coordination. Although paler colors would be good. Maybe we can give the green to Mori. That or maybe pale turquoise or pale blue.
• Pale green scales and maybe hair too, pale blue eye and pale turquoise eye
• Pale turquoise scales and maybe hair too, pale blue and silver eyes
° Maybe green eyes? I want to keep the heterochromia though
• Pale turquoise scales, silver hair and pale blue eye and bright green eye
Elaine/Blake's replacement (Storm Dragon Slayer): I think the teal is fun especially since I want to give Elaine pink hair, but alternatively colors like white silver and grey could also be good additions as well. I want her to be based off of a Japanese style dragon. The whole can walk on air thing that was mentioned in canon is something I am reminded of.
• White base with pink and teal accents (accidental trans flag)
• White base with pink and silver accents

Allumos: You ma'am are one of the main reasons I'm doing this post. Dark blue or purple, really think un-light-polluted night sky. Bunch of tiny stars/sparkles. I gave her pinkish/purple horn in her redesign so maybe add that too. Maybe gold, possibly?
• Aurora Borealis theme? Allowed to keep the the green this way.
° Maybe with a dark base color and the Aurora can stand out
• Dark blue with gold accents

Viper (Poison Dragon Slayer): Now I do love his canon coloration, but Poison could have a lot of colors technically, especially in nature it's usually just bright colors in general often paired with black and white.
Definitely keeping the black markings it makes other bright colors stand out more. I just realized there is so much I could base Viper off of I'll do Viper's in a reblog of this post
