Lars x reader fics r cute and most of them rely on the concept that reader’s touch doesn’t physically pain him, but i think it’s more meaningful and realistic if it does pain him. You don’t push him into physical touch but he sees how you almost reach instinctively then hesitate. He wants to introduce that aspect into your relationship, not because you demand it, but because he loves you. And he loves you so much he’ll work to become more comfortable. And that’s love if I’ve ever seen it.
