mr yucky mouth was able to go to the vet 🥹 and surprisingly, it wasn't an infection. it's more or less a dry socket, so it's still good that he was seen because he needed to be prescribed lots of new medicine to keep actual infections away and control his pain levels. he might need a second dental surgery but this has a good chance of resolving on its own. everyone please clap for him for being such a good and strong boy (and thank you for helping me get him seen)

#i'll keep comms open a little longer i want a bit of a safety net Just In Case surgery ends up being necessary #and also my job search is still going abysmally .......kicks a rock.i'm so sick of interviews man #alu

so bad news: alu's mouth is infected now. i don't want to post the pictures they're pretty gross but his gums are very swollen and full of pus. he needs antibiotics and probably an abscess drain. i Tried asking my mom for help this time due to the suddenness but she. completely freaked out on me. and threatened to let him die or kill him herself. so uh!!!!!! yeah this sucks!!!

if nothing else i'll need to be able to pay her back Soon for a good chunk of however much this is going to cost (a few hundred dollars at least) so she doesn't break into my apartment, kidnap him, and abandon him somewhere. because like. she will. i wish i didn't have to ask for help again but this summer job search is going so so so slow :(
