The first fic I’m going to reccomend is the one that got me into reading fanfics, I think it’s popular but anyways I love, it’s It only hurts this much right now by @dandelionsunset1210. I first read it when I finished the trilogy and I was looking for a fluffy everlark growing back together fic, and it was genuinely my favorite of the ones I found. Everything felt so realistic and in character and I love it so much. Her Post-Mockingjay Stories is my favorite fic series ever.

One fic I really loved, like when it wasn’t finished yet I opened it on ao3 everyday to see if it was updated, is P. Mellark by ravenpuff1956. I’m obsessed with not reaped AUs and this one is soooo cute. In this, peeta’s brother kinda sets them up and it’s so fun.

Then she said yes by @reiamellark is one of my favorites because I love burdock so much and she wrote him exactly how I imagine him. This is an AU where everlark are not reaped and burdock is alive, and you can see their relationship from burdock’s pov.

Another one I loved was Away From Prying Eyes by @evax3, I literally read it all at once. It’s an AU where everlark get together a bit after their first games, so they go through everything in catching fire and mockingjay as a real couple.

I also love Morning Wood, which is a one-shot AU where everlark have a lot of fun the morning after the rooftop picnic, written by Sam1icker81.

I adore a non-hijacked peeta fic, and the first one I ever read was Say That Again by FreshlyCutGrass. I’ve re-read it many many times.

And lately I’ve been obsessed with Portrait of Mrs. Hawthorne by @thesweetnessofspring. Its a regency everlark fic where katniss is married to gale but doesn’t love him and peeta is hired to paint a portrait of her and things happen between them. I enjoyed reading this sooo much and I’m so excited for the update!

About fanart, my favorite fan artist is obviously @little-lynx because her drawings are EXACTLY how I pictured the character while reading the book. This poor queen has received a lot of hate on instagram lately, which she doesn’t deserve, that drawing was beautiful and followed book canon.

And my favorite fanart EVER I would say is this one by @whenthewallfell like I love it so much I literally come back and see it like at least once a week. The toastboy is my favorite, because all it takes for me to like you is being a baby with blond curly hair (not coriolanus tho), and he is so cute in this.

Him handing her the Lamb Stew was him opening up to her again.

Him laying down by her feet to rest is him accepting that he is in love with Katniss even as he is unsure of her feelings for him.

He was in a vulnerable position at her feet, easily within reach of her. At this point, he knows she won't kill him and he also knows and accepts that he loves her.
