Katniss and Peeta are having a little sweet, wholesome, romantic moment as usual, and when he stops playing with her hair, she immediately says, "what?" AND PEETA PROCEEDS TO SAY, "I wish I could freeze this moment, right here, right now, and live in it forever."

Katniss thinks of how that type of comment normally makes her feel guilty and yadayadayada, BUT HER RESPONSE TO THAT IS LITERALLY: "Okay."

so I went to my family gp a few years ago in so much pain after injuring my hip in tug of war (I know 💀) in school PE. he tested everything and becuase of my (at that point undiagnosed) heds, my range of motion was still far greater than that of a normal person so he claimed i must be fine. when trying to explain that this wasn't my full normal ROM he completly dismissed me, saying it was probably a strained tendon. i was in agony, and im not unfamiliar with pain. the doctor didnt even order imaging, just saying 'if it still hurts in two weeks go to a physio'.

MY FEMORAL HEAD HAD GROWN EXTRA BONE. WHEN MY HIP TRIED TO DISLOCATE, IT SEVERED MY LABRUM AND THE FUCKING STRONGEST LIGAMENT IN THE HUMAN BODY.

ended up getting surgury SIX MONTHS LATER with a recovery time of about two years, all of which was made worse because of how much his 'diagnosis' delayed action. so much of my chronic pain now stems from that injury, and knowing even a tiny bit of that could have been prevented pisses me the fuck off.

then because my parents still saw him, maybe a year or so later they booked me in for an appointment with him and upon reading my medical history he said it looked like i'd had a few 'hip issues'.
