Try and stop me.

I bought you a postcard, 

why? 

I do not know.

 The back is blank 

 and I haven't been able to think

 of a single thing to write. 

Because currently, you are nobody. 

An imaginary, fictitious sight 

but hopefully when you're reading this you are my somebody. 

There are some things you should know about me and my mind 

I won't overwhelm you, 

just a  moment of your time.

 I have my ups and downs just like anybody else 

and I know how this sounds 

but you've probably figured all this out. 

I'm an adventurous traveler 

 no time for sitting around

 concerts and BBQ's, 

camping and fancy restaurants we obviously can't afford.

 I sometimes set my sights low 

and that's okay 

because as you know 

expectations ruin reality. 

I will overanalyze a lot

 probably ruining a thing or two

 and of course that will make me think

 more about the things I shouldn't do.

 Please understand that I'm only human.

 I'm going to make mistakes just like you

 but of course you'll comprehend 

because you are you 

and I am me 

and somehow our insanity coincides quite beautifully.

 So make me laugh when I'm sad 

and I'll do the same for you, 

please stick around help me navigate this strange course in my brain.

 Tell me it'll be okay,

 that, "Yes, love is hard."

 I'll trifle through my junk
