My name is Adam, and I go by he/him/his pronouns. I am a 21-year-old self-taught artist and a casual writer who uses this account for whatever. Whatever I’m into at the moment is what you’ll see created by me and reblogged from others.

"Just get a new car" is an insanely privileged take. Are you gonna help cover the cost for a new car? No? Then shut up lol. Some people have had Teslas for a while because of the appeal of an electronic vehicle.

I think you have to view this similarly to how you view consumerism under capitalism. Educate yourself and be aware of the fact that there is no ethical consumption under capitalism, and then manage your consumption habits. For example, don't buy the newest phone if yours is working fine; if you need a new phone, consider taking it to a repair shop or buy a new one secondhand.

If someone bought a Tesla vehicle before they realized who's behind the company and how disgusting of a person he is, they'd still already have it and have paid for it, so why get rid of it, especially if they don't have the funds to do so? Unless you're painstakingly researching the people behind the company of every single thing you're consuming 24/7/365, you have no right to call others bootlickers and/or sympathizers for unknowingly buying a vehicle that advertised itself as fuel efficient and environmentally aware upon its debut.
