In a day and age where everyone and their mother is keeping your information whether it is to sell you a specific lotion based off a throwaway comment you made to your friend, or if it is to track how much of an enemy to the government you might be because you are interested in things like civil rights, sexual and gender identity, etc - libraries are here to say, your information isn't ours to keep.
