I took it as that is his name as well, but I think this was pre TFTSA so maybe shes changed it? I think it was just the surname changed though—sort of a “choose your own family” type of name. TBC also make this slightly ambiguous. I could see never wanting to “dead name” him too and we never find out

Many homeless people rely on books as the only entertainment they can easily carry, can be replaced constantly, doesn't need charging and can be found for relatively cheap. Same thing for newspapers, which also double as insulation. I see plenty of homeless people reading, you just don't bother to look.
