hi! call me Spider! (he/him) ---------- i am quite mentally ill and not so chronically online so i will most likely post very little, if at all. when i do post, do expect long rant posts though! i am also probably the only Kusunoki Muu kin in existence. [it's a very complicated story.] (WIP of pfp and banner by me)
before you browse my posts, read this DNI. if you belong to these groups, i will not interact with you. if i check through your posts, and you belong to these groups, then i will block you without warning. please note that as i ran out of tags, there are DNI that are only listed in the text/body of this post.
(please note that endos/endogenic systems and systems of any origin, as well as fictives and proshippers ARE welcome here. anyone who believes otherwise can also leave.)
DNI: racists; xenophobes; homophobes; lesbophobes; transphobes; biphobes; arophobes; acephobes; MAPs; TERFs; radqueers; transids*; yumeshippers; shifters; (singlet) mediakins/fictionkins**; anti-endos; anti-proshippers; pro-contact; pro-lifers and any other kind of hatred towards any demographic.
*not including transgender, otherwise just know that unless it's trauma-related or mental illness related, transids make me feel uncomfortable. (some are welcome e.g. plurality-based transage/transspecies but some are always unwelcome e.g. transracial/transabled)
**more specifically, "singlet fictionkins who feel that they haven't experienced any trauma". this is a very small category, and even if you fall under this category, interact if you want to, but i might not reply.
(this DNI also includes anyone who says “i don't want them to die but i do not support the LGBTQ+” and anyone who thinks homosexuality is “a sin” or something “worthy of going to hell for”, or anyone who is “gender critical” and/or not supportive of trans people.)
the rest is below this read more! (more about my singlet fictionkin exception also.)
look. i'm not anti-fictionkin, but we (Spider) debated on this for the longest time. systems that have fictives are welcome! however (and this is without hate), i personally think it's unhealthy to encourage that level of separation from the self, especially when you have no non-fiction self to fall back on. i also just think you guys need to get help.
i know you guys tend to define it as "involuntary", but how can it be so if you have to learn about the media source first? there's kinning and relating to a media source (i myself kin Kusunoki Muu, and i feel seen and i relate to her specific struggles) while retaining that healthy separation, and then there's replacing your non-fiction sense of self with a universe and corresponding memories that cannot be your own. it just freaks me out. this makes complete sense to me as a trauma response (because if you've experienced trauma, you'd want to escape your traumatic situation in life by dissociating from it), but without that, i don't see anything in it other than it being incredibly unhealthy.
it's just my personal belief that you need some sort of non-fiction self as an anchor to this world that we live in, especially if you haven't (in your opinion) experienced any trauma. anyone who thinks otherwise makes me feel deeply uncomfortable. that's all.
with that out of the way, here's everything you need to know about me!
TL;DR: i go by Spider; i usually post about and reblog posts to do with my fandoms; i sometimes vent about my mental health; i occasionally rant about people and phenomena; my pronouns are he/him; i am plural/a system; i am asexual, trans, genderfluid and plurfluid; i talk a LOT.
please be warned that i am very opinionated and very chatty, so my blog mostly consists of posts that are essentially just walls of text.
as i am such a chatty person, it's customary for me to use yellow to colour-code important information, red to colour-code warnings, and blue to colour-code extra information or tangents. i will also sometimes use yellow or red to highlight more important points within those asides. (i find this helps with readability.)
i also colour-code my long posts according to how i want to refer to each character within my posts. i colour the name and *most* pronouns (unless they're too close to another coloured phrase, or within blue brackets!). these colour-codes are useful for me because i find it easier to read and proofread, and it's less ambiguous if there's more than one character who uses the same pronouns. for example, i am green!
you can either refer to me as Spider, or by my username ‘muuissoinno’!
(please never shorten it to Muu… i want it to be known that even though i kin Muu, i am not a fictionkin, and even the idea of being referred to that way kinda freaks me out.)
my username itself is based on the character Kusunoki Muu from MILGRAM, the interactive music project by DECO*27! it's available on YouTube, it's a really good watch, and it's going to be ending in September 2026 (i'm so not ready).
when i say i kin Muu, i mean i really really kin her. i have other kins, such as Basil or Cabby but she might be the only character i could ever fully kin like this, including some intricacies of commonalities between our lived experiences.
i kin her for reasons that could, at a glance be problematic (especially if you are familiar with the project) but i have absolutely outgrown those tendencies now!!! i just think my similar lived experiences give me more of an insight into her character, which is why i care so much about her… so if you see me posting lots about her, you'll get it now!!
to help with searching through my posts, i have used the following tags!
there are three categories, and they're all linked below:
1) post type
#muuissoinno posts for my posts
#muuissoinno reblogs for my reblogs
2) post length
#muuissoinno blanks for reblogs with only tags
#muuissoinno extra longs for extra long posts
#muuissoinno longs for long posts
#muuissoinno shorts for short posts
#muuissoinno extra shorts for extra short posts
3) post content
#muuissoinno tag rants for posts & reblogs with notable/large tag rants
#muuissoinno rants for posts that are rants/mostly made up of complaints
#muuissoinno vents for posts that are personal and vents (note: they deal with heavy themes as i am mentally ill and trying to navigate life – i do not glorify mental illness and if you need help, and can get help, get help. don't encourage others to harm themselves. i am getting help myself.)

american tiktok users misappropriating fairs, melt, and bird. american tiktok users and the mcr cover of common people. americans laughing at beans on toast and other such foods. americans laughing at british accents, bad teeth, or dental care.
now tell me again about how the song is about being an alt outsider. go ahead. not the poverty line. not the lack of class consciousness. the defunding of services despite the constant rise of poverty since the seventies and eighties. sure, it's about not fitting in/standing out, sure...
"common" doesn't mean "ordinary". it just means "commoner".
it's honestly sad how americans assume they're the only people to walk this earth. like, no. everything you hear isn't a "TikTok" term, every word spoken doesn't have to be AmE, and every song ever written doesn't apply to you. we Brits still exist!! (unfortunately. but you also might be glad to know that with all these pro-1984 laws, we're an increasingly endangered race!)
it's the appropriation of everything in an America-centric light, and it sucks. like i'm sorry to burst your bubble, but we're made in God's image, not yours

see because other cultures exist and americans seem The Most Incapable of accepting that… that's why they make fun of what they don't understand; it's weird and "wrong" to be different
tempted to go on about how they misused the song Gomenne Gomenne by Kikuo but i won't! it's sad that there's a wealth of different examples and it's a tale as old as time, unforch.

i greatly dislike when people tag hypersexual related posts as ‘mdni’.
teenagers are THE MOST SUSCEPTIBLE PEOPLE TO THIS DISORDER. THEY ARE GROOMED, EXPOSED TO PORN TOO YOUNG, ETC ETC. HYPERSEXUAL DISORDER IS NOT AN ADULT TOPIC.
i don't know what to do like i've been dissociating the whole day and now i feel the psychosis creeping up on me like ???? am i cooked ???? are the delusions gonna get my ass ????? is the brain fog going to take away my cognition again ????????
The "reblog if your account is safe for LGBTQIA+ people, black people, immigrants, etc" posts are good but I think we need a bit more hate in the world, I'll start
Reblog this if your account is NOT safe for racists, homophobes, misogynists, transphobes, biphobes, anti-immigration people, pro-capitalists, TERFs, lesbophobes, aphobes, Trump supporters, bigots, or J.K. Rowling
Takopii no Genzai is my favourite manga and anime (i say, having hardly watched any other animes yet – I PLAN ON RECTIFYING THIS) and i just want to say this.
this extends to any character who is a bully. bullies are people too. misunderstood, flawed people, who do wrong, usually because of their environments. this extends to Jax, Marina, and Muu alike. (they're the only three i can name off the dome)
moral of the story: be kind to people!!! that's all we can do in life.

hi guys, sorry for the short “irrelevant” post, but i feel like it's good manners to warn y'all.
i haven't seen anyone talk about it online this past decade, so. just to let you know. i'm about to blow up this fandom, because i'm gonna tell you what Red Guy's real name is.
i'm sure there's gotta be other people out there who've figured it out thus far, and i know i won't be the first, but for those who don't know, i'll be back with all the evidence nicely organised in a post :)
(as always, tangents are in blue and important bits are in orange!)
honestly, as a trans Jax truther i don't know where i fall, because i both like and hate Jax. well, it's more like i love Jax as a character because he is So incredibly interesting, and i also hate Jax as a person because he is Such an asshole.
i've also leaned towards sticking with he/him pronouns for Jax, but only because he never came out, so i feel like i gotta respect that?? i mean, i don't think we can ignore him feeling uncomfortable with the maid dress in Episode 5 or when he wore it in those merch drops..? coz those almost felt like he was being rushed/pressured into it, and it just rubbed me the wrong way.
he never openly identified as, acted like or dressed like a girl, so to me it doesn't feel right to use she/her on canon Jax… i mean it totally makes sense to use she/her for AUs of Jax where she's come out, but idk.
(i actually think it's my kinda uncommon collection of life experiences that makes my viewpoint a very strange one. therefore, i don't expect most people to agree with me.
in terms of Jax being transfem, i myself am transmasc, and so i can understand the sentiment of dysphoria being a destructive thing that causes Jax to do what he does. i also personally still use she/her on myself in most scenarios, because i have not come out, and i would personally hate someone deciding for me that it's okay to use he/him on me after my death, if i hypothetically were to die before i came out. this means that i'm likely projecting but i don't think that alone makes my opinion "wrong"?
in terms of Jax bullying Gangle, he likely drew upon his learned loathing for anything "girly" or "weak" [not being "enough of a man" implies that men are strong and women are the reverse] and i can also personally attest that bullying someone to fill a void really can feel gratifying. therefore it makes sense to me that Jax, having perhaps been at the mercy of verbal abuse from his mother, could have replicated this behaviour in the form of bullying Gangle.)
TL;DR: if you see me using he/him on Jax, it's because he never came out and i don't think it's transphobic to use pronouns that correspond with someone's AGAB if they haven't come out yet.

we can discuss the ending all day, but i feel like there would've never been a balance between ambiguity and narrative satisfaction with everyone's expectations set so high.
i think that TADC blew up way more than it was initially expected to, i think that TADC reached way more people outside of the intended age ranges (especially little kids), and i think that TADC itself was never going to be what the lore-obsessed theorists wanted it to be, but i digress!
from the beginning of the show, we could see it was very character-oriented. each episode is roughly focused around one character. we know this because Gooseworx tweeted about it (and i have linked said tweet below).
(please note that the following includes my opinions on what the episodic focuses in 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9 are, as well as my opinions on important "minor characters" as the episodic focus shifts between them, too.)
(i listed out the minor characters because they really haunt the narrative and all of their absences are greatly felt [especially if you know where to look]. for example:
Scratch is on the Dobby Dog in Spudsy's [with the price being $57.57, referring to the year 1957 and the hotdog/not a hotdog classifier conundrum to do with AI, which also suggested that Scratch is connected to Caine long before we got confirmation of him being a programmer];
Ribbit's inclusion in Intermission Time and Jax's argument with Ribbit [with him repeating his monologue from his argument with Ribbit about the chicken egg and its implications for his gender identity, which is him being transfem];
Kaufmo being a reminder of loss, and that life is precious and short [with the bowling ball and its appearance in Intermission Time and whether or not it represents who has lost people they care about aka. Jax, Pomni, Zooble and Kinger, except Kinger's already bounced back from his loss] etc. etc. and i could go on.
the point i'm trying to make is that these minor characters are used to further characterise the major characters, and there are lots of details to unpack!!
i also feel like it's important to note that the main cast are explored throughout the entirety of this show: it's just that there's definitely [at least] one character per episode that gets more of a spotlight.)
when we consider the prevalence of lore in TADC, the "lore" episode (ep. 7) that we did get was a believable fakeout using background details as its evidence, and Kinger's discussion in ep. 8 mainly discussed Caine's origins. in that sense, i feel like regarding it being character-focused, TADC made itself clear from the get-go, and anyone expecting otherwise was bound to be disappointed.
i think the same goes for the show's non-ambiguous ending. if TADC was meant to be lore-focused, then sure. an ambiguous ending regarding lore would have made sense. however, considering that Caine didn't really die, an ambiguous ending wouldn't make much sense for a character-focused show, especially when what happens to them is inherently a non-ambiguous thing.
if anything, it really makes more sense for TADC to have a narratively satisfying ending. this show has always been about the characters' journeys to “find meaning in a stagnant life”. (those are Gooseworx' words, and at the very least, it seems that way to me.) why then, would their journeys be left unfinished? Gooseworx has already expressed her unwillingness to continue TADC in any shape or form, so if that's the case, then why shouldn't she tie up loose narrative ends with this last episode? sure, it might be “anti-climactic” for anyone who wanted to know more juicy lore details about C&A's inner workings, or about a potential escape method, but haven't those avenues been exhausted enough through use of ep. 7?
anyway, yeah. that's all i really have to say about the ending. i just think that it makes sense for a character-focused show like TADC to tie up all the loose ends for the main cast.
(although, all things considered, on-and-off this post took me 5 days to write, and when i began extending the Scratch section on a whim, i realised that i had a lot more to say than i'd initially anticipated. i think i might end up making a post on the true nature of abstraction, so look out for that! [although, please note that there's this theory video that breaks it down quite well that i will need to cite; these ideas aren't independently mine, and i only have "new" ideas or "unique" insight when it comes to What Abstraction Actually Is.])
anyway, regardless of all of the criticisms everyone may have, i personally enjoyed the episode a lot. i think it wraps things up pretty nicely, and if you're someone who likes the show but doesn't like the ending, then there's your chance to be creative and write your own version of events!!! bonus points if you draw or write it down, because creative mediums are the best!! (≧▽≦)✧*。
tfw someone you love who isn't immediate family passes away and you lowkenuinely don't know how to feel and then you end up spending the next three days in a haze leading up to the funeral and then you remember you had shit to be doing (i'm so cooked)
