i think the flowery interpretation that everyone is missing out on is that he’s basically just a clingy spoiled cat. he loves any and all sorts of attention that he can get and while he loves many other people there’s nothing quite like getting attention from the One Person(TM) he’s singled out. he’ll rest his head on their shoulder, wrap his arms around them, lay in their lap, for god’s sake he’ll take up every inch of space they have until he finally gets the attention he desires. he’s literally just a kitty. tiny kiki. here kittykittykittykittyyyyy
