(Ginger’s Song of the Day: February 10th, 2019)
This was one of the first Jack Off Jill songs I heard as a teenager. As a teen who was suffering through abuse at the hands of religious fanatics (and as a teen atheist) this song had such a big effect on me. I still listen to it when I need empowerment. People who read my writing will recognize this as a big theme in a lot of my stories - renouncing blind faith in corrupt institutions and finding faith in ourselves.
