02. not particularly author friendly, but i admire the immensity of his work and the universes he's built. i am also in the process of re-reading the novel, and will glean more of what i will choose to apply to bill's character over time through that.
03. my interpretation of bill will take inspiration from various other sk works [the shining/doctor sleep, and the dark tower, mostly] and other horror media.
04. i like every adaption just fine, but they are also not the end-all be-all in terms of characterization on here. i'm choosing to have the first encounter with It be in the 80s and the second be in the 2010s because it's easier for me to interpret the characters through that lense. so even if i'm using a movie face claim, i'm not movie based.
05. due to the nature of canon, dark themes will be present fairly frequently on this blog and will always be tagged appropriately. i ask in return that you please tag anything to do with dentistry and the deep ocean.
