Once Scott realizes that being the oldest he can just lie about how the past was and how people lived and pretend not to know about stuff that he's well aware of because 'ive been asleep for six hundred years, I've missed a lot', he decides to start testing how ludicrous he can get with his lies about the past before someone calls him out on them.

v!Scott has really bad long-term memory (compared to other vampires at least), so he learned to draw so he wouldn't forget people's faces. He normally draws them when they're alive, but in Oakhurst, he didn't have the supplies. Now he has to go off memory for everyone who didn't make it out or who he didn't see again (minus Apo, he couldn't care less about her). And he hates that. So sometimes, he'll draw for days without stopping as if it'll make him remember _better_. He hides those drawings mainly so he won't lose them like the ones from before he was put to sleep (which he still regrets) (they were in that barrel he found his pocket watch in).
