On April 10, 2026, I took a beautiful girl cat home. Her name was originally Coco Puff, but I decided to rename her to Nami! Nami has been the joy of my life since I adopted her. I was very lonely and she filled the void with everything I wanted and more.
She snuggles and sleeps with me every night, makes sure to wake me up when it’s breakfast time, talks with me, and endlessly rolls on her back to show me her soft belly. My baby sister and I love her like a daughter, and she’s brought so many laughs into our home. I’m so grateful that I stopped by Animal Humane Society in Woodbury after work on a random Thursday, because now I have a companion for life that’s everything I ever wanted in a furry friend.
