#YES i know about the rats im just terrible at figuring out exactly where i am at any given moment #idk if 30 min is an exaggeration or not i just know it felt like an hour both times which CANNOT be right #poast #jp mgs4 #the problem is exits #i can never find exits #i eventually called otacon bc i knew hed tell me where to go and thought 'otacon pls help' in the most pathetic voice ever as i did #'just follow to red dot on ur map' you see i am incredibly bad at following maps and just want to know what im looking for #thankfully he always tells me exactly what to look for i owe him my life

3. immediately wanted to replay

with these 3 criteria met, mgs4 has made it to my personal hall of fame (along with every other mainline mgs game)

#GOD I LOVE MGS #this was it this was the last one ive played them all finally after 8 years #except for pw. due to issues with my vision im never gonna be able to complete that one :(#poast #cannot believe i caved and bought a ps3 just for this less than a month before the ports were announced #i forgot about the 'vol 1' in mgs mc vol 1 #i remember when i initially saw 'vol 1' i was like 'MGS4 PORT IN VOL 2 IN 3 YEARS? PLEASE???' and FORGOT #oh well. i got a fully backwards compatible ps3 and dont own a bluray player so w/e it's fine #also original hardware hits different ya know idc about 4k 60fps #8 years and im still ass at these games <3 #when the here's to you cover hit..... damn......#i DO need to replay bc i was lowkey rushed and missed some stuff im sure #also wanna do a harder difficulty i always struggle picking one with mgs games #i NEED to get all to toys for sunny too i missed the raging raven and screaming mantis ones (maybe more)#also how do i mysteriously kill people in every game like im going non-lethal wth happened
