Welcome back to LovEevee Island!

Infatuation has become the new viral infection on this island. While in the last couple of episodes, crushes have been one-sided, it looks like we've got one that's mutual!

The morning after we heard about Techeon's secret crush, Veneon and Techeon vibes seem in sync. Both up before the rest of the islanders, the two go on a lovely walk and talk about their latest obsessions. Veneon mentions after this talk that the more she hangs around Techeon the more she can't get her mind off of him. But nothing will be more than a feeling if no one acts.

Unfortunately it looks like Leafeon is stuck on her feelings for Lepideon with her rose colored glasses.

She mentions in an interview about her commitment issues keeping her from saying her feelings.

"I've been hurt so many times when I've taken the first step to love. At this point, while I want to couple up here, I feel safer when it's just a crush and a fantasy."

Meanwhile, Drakeon seems to be able to do anything but withhold his feelings as the islanders face the next challenge.

The Challenge for the islanders this time is a simple one:

Date Night

Islanders need to pair up for a date that is either thrilling or heartwarming.

For Glaceon and Espeon, they decide to have a philosophical dinner date focused on getting to know each other better, as they are the longest lasting couple that is still not married.

While Glaceon and Espeon are in a deep conversation on what their future would be like together, Drakeon makes himself known to the couple asking "Hey! Mind if I join you two?"

You can cut the tension with a knife, and yet Drakeon can't help but compliment Glaceon's looks IN FRONT of Espeon.

Unfortunately he is unable to help himself when Glaceon snaps at him and tells him to f**** off.

Espeon mentions to the crew that he loves to see Glaceon's fierce side and says "it's like she's a sassy bouncer."

However he does mention later on that her judging side can be a little scary. Especially on literature. Espeon mentions that he has a financially successful literature hobby that he has not told Glaceon about due to this judging side.

Espeon also states that the deep conversation was going to involve him opening up to what his writing job pertains, but the Drakeon interruption means he will have to bring this topic up again but he is definitely dreading that conversation.

For Flareon and Umbreon, they also decide something more heartwarming. Umbreon surprises Flareon with not only homemade dinner but a song Umbreon made for Flareon.

Flareon states in a later interview that he feels so important to Umbreon.

"Sure dinner was a simple grilled cheese and the song was a bit tacky, but no one has made me feel so special before. Granted I've never been with someone as long as I've been with Umbreon, so maybe that's why? Is he expecting the same from me? Maybe I can make a breakdance routine inspired by him."

Looks like Flareon still needs some time to get used to the effects of a stronger, long lasting relationship.

Lastly for Spookeon and Vaporeon, they decide to take a quick trip off the island to enjoy a thrilling time in the nearest city.

Vaporeon says he's not much of a city person but knows Spookeon is.

"I think I can handle a few days in a crowded noisy city to see my babe so happy and excited and the attractions and bars. Who knew she was such a sommelier with ciders?"

Spookeon later mentions in an interview that she loves the city and is hoping the two can move to one in the future.

"I love a skyscraper view and I grew up in multiple cities. Don't get me wrong, the island has been a lovely stay for me, but I miss my bustling life in the city."

Looks like these two will need to discuss housing and find a compromise that makes both happy.

The rest among the islanders need to act fast on who to go out with for this challenge as this can get them on the scoreboard board. Veneon takes this opportunity to go on a shopping date with Techeon. Techeon agrees to it and mentions he is happy to see if this means something. Vernon shows him all the outfits she tries and Techeon definitely flirts in the midst of his compliments to her outfits.

It is finally near the end of the date, that Veneon stops Techeon and says she needs to talk to him about something.
