And Eddie! 😍💚💜 My brain cannot even, thy gave him glasses and he’s a ginger, two of my favorite Riddler features, and a fedora! They forgot his usual Bowler, but at least they used my favorite style of headwear in its place. A Riddler with no hat better make up for it in other features in my opinion.

I think it’s the turning point where Bruce subconsciously realizes he no longer needs Selena. There’s very little to nothing she can teach him now and he’s able to protect himself better, and Selena knows instinctively that if Bruce doesn’t need you, you’re just slowing him down and he’ll discharge you.

Consciously, he clings and pesters others to not walk out of his life, because he’s afraid of losing people, especially if he could help it.

Subconsciously he views people as tools in his quest (obsession), and doesn’t really try to treat them like he should.

The end result being he doesn’t understand why people won’t stay just because he wants them too.

Selena is very wise for her age and even though she knows it’s safer to put up walls and keep her distance, she’s still a youngster and it hurts that Bruce wasn’t how she hoped he’d be.

Never anyone’s priority, never chosen first if at all, that is Selena’s pain.

I WAS going to say that Galaxy Rangers was probably the most WTF cartoon I watched but I just re-watched the Silverhawks intro and LET ME TELL YOU between the guitar-strummin’ metal space Texan whose only clothing is a cowboy hat to the beast guy on a space tentacle motorcycle, it is a LOT more WTF than I remember.  Like, a LOT.

I mean, seriously.  DUDE.  

The giant rainbow made me feel reflexively welcome before I remembered this is not actually a gay cartoon, then I looked at the characters again, who are just … like … MADE of skin-tight sexy metal, and … dude.  This was such a gay fuckin’ show.

I mean, Steelheart?  Yeah.  I am getting some SERIOUS space lesbian vibes off her character design.

I had a crush on her, btw.

And then there’s Bluegrass, who is definitely your Bi Space Dad:
